I should have posted this 3 weeks ago... but forgot I had saved it until I was going through the place my photos are stored.
I wanted to see what WVU was doing the week I was born (Sept 1966), so I went through the microfilm at Winchester, VA library... and found these 2 articles from the Winchester Star newspaper. First article is preview of WVU vs, "V.P.I. Gobblers". ha h
Second article is recap of game.
First article said Tech had a jinx playing us. This was before Tech went 20 years without a win in Morgantown (1969 until 1989). Unfortunately, I was at the 1989 game where Tech ended their Mo'town losing streak. It was the week after WVU's meltdown against Pitt. :-/
