Could go on forever...but here's a start.

WVU have gone 1-11 against ranked teams since 2014. Ugly.

And more ugly...WVU has gone 7-15 against teams that finished with better than a 50/50 record since then.

Too bad we can't schedule more games against MAC and Conference USA teams. lol

Ouch!!! Now that hurts. And to make it worse you are absolutely right - I wonder when that hurts moves to Lyons saying "enough."

Wow.............................you sure know how to drive a point! I wonder if Dana realizes that he is over paid? Heck, he pulls in about $80,000 a week.

At least WVU plays them. Unlike the other Big 12 teams that do schedule MAC, CUSA and FCS games.

Please tell us your candidate for head coach instead of spewing your god awful puke hate across the land of mediaville.

Just as examples ALLEN, but the SEC is known for it's OOC cupcakes. Bama has taken it to a new level, scheduling their cupcakes late in the season before the CCG. They basically get 2 BYE weeks before the CCG as the first team plays a couple of series before taking the bench for second and third teamers to get playing time. Bama has Mercer on 11/18, just before the Iron Bowl with Auburn.

Everyone has them on their schedule and placement really has no bearing. I'd like to see an FCS ban on FBS schedules, but it would only shift to the bottom feeders of the G5. So pick your poison, I guess.

4 wins
7 wins
8 wins
10 wins

I'd say that's the right direction

Serious question. Do you feel that the 10 win team is really that much better than the previous 2 or was it more an easier schedule comparitavely? I just don't see last year's team as being significantly better than the 7 win team that managed to beat Baylor and had TCU beat before giving it away. Those were 2 play-off caliber squads. That team was also at least competitive with a playoff team in Alabama that year.

Dana has this years WV team headed in the same direction that the next coach will head them. It is tough to win a football game against most any power team. Hail, it's hard to beat the Youngstown State teams of the world! The Big 12 ain't no cupcake league no matter what you say or think. Warez

I believe the only thing that kept our 8 win 2015 team was a few bad bounces of the football, and in 2016 those same events just went our way for once (Baylor game, KSU game)

I think Dana fielded 2 straight really good teams in 2015 and 2016.

KC, there are 'bad bounces' in every game that is played. Both teams experience 'bad bounces'. But, I will say that the officials have more say so in who wins these games that people think. Holding and pass interference calls come to mind.

It seems the 2015 team either won convincingly or lost convincingly outside of the KSU game just glancing at the scores. Both teams got handled easily by the tougher competition unlike the 2014 team.

IMO, Dana's biggest weakness has been inconsistency. He's proven to a very capable recruiter. He's proven to beat great teams. However, I don't feel he's been able to put it all together each week. We struggle to beat teams we should beat, we beat teams we probably shouldn't, and most times we beat ourselves. We typically lack team discipline from Dana down to the players. As we are usually ranked high in team penalties.

The Oklahoma St game was one stop away from a victory in 2015... went to OT

And the KSU game

Either way if the 2015 and 2016 teams were really good, I'd think you would have to say the 2014 team is just as good. Given how well it preformed against that buzzsaw of a schedule with equivalent or better TCU and Baylor squads along with a better KSU team. Not to mention Bama.

And if Clint doesn't get injured, or we don't open against Bama (a game I enjoyed), I think we get more wins.

For theasthma 3 seasons, our teams have been competitive, and imo, strong. 10 wins last season is a great uear, not sure why people are so angry.

If Clint doesn't get his head spiked on the turf against TCU, I think we win 9-10 games that year....including the TCU game.

WVU can't do better than Hoggy so might as well make the best of it but you are 100% correct in identifying a huge problem when the staff goes against most top 25 teams.
