What was the name of the kid who transferred to Marshall from Penn State a couple of years ago? Didn't the herd get all excited about his potential? How did it work out? Just curious.
What's disappointing about those stats? 39 catches for 653 yards, including 4 TDs. Additionally, he averaged almost 15 yards per punt return, including returning one for a TD. Remind us all, what were your stats your senior year at Marshall?I did a little research. The kid's name was Devon Smith. He played one year for the herd, 2013. He had 4 tds and a total of 653 receiving yards for the entire year. He was third on the team in receiving. I now understand why the herd fans didn't respond. Huge disappointment. Those guys were so pumped about this kid transferring to Marshall.

I had to look it up, but the year in question where you're bashing a guy with decent stats, was the same year Tommy Shuler had 106 catches for 1,165 yards, and Gator Hoskins had 50 catches for 821 yards. Hell, Cato threw for almost 4,000 yards. Now, tell us about your spectacular stats your senior year in college.We had two receivers at 900 yards last year.
