I just cut my grass in jeans and a hooded sweatshirt. It's May for Christ's sake. I'm in desperate need of help from my friends at the MMB. I remember when I was a young mountaineer and got dropped off at the Starvaggi pool in Weirton West "By God Virginia" by my mom. It was the 80's, the sun was hot, the pool was cool, and I was trying to score chicks with my Brett "the hit man" Hart shades. I need to warm up on this frigid Northern Panhandle day with some Summer songs. I implore your help. You know you want to play. Cajuneer, Eer from the Burgh, everyone out there, I need you now!!! I want some lyrics from your favorite Summer songs. I'll kick it off:
"At the drive-in, in the old man's Ford. Begin the bushes, till I'm screaming for more, more, more."

Pennsyltucky.................Ha, I knew a guy that used to say that, he was a goofy F'er too.
Life is better when you're goofy. Not much expected of you, and when you do something outlandish, it is chalked up to normalcy being absent from your personality.

It was 1989, my thoughts were short my hair was long
Caught somewhere between a boy and man
She was seventeen and she was far from in-between
It was summertime in Northern Michigan

Splashing through the sand bar
Talking by the campfire
It's the simple things in life, like when and where
We didn't have no internet
But man I never will forget
The way the moonlight shined upon her hair

And we were trying different things
We were smoking funny things
Making love out by the lake to our favorite song
Sipping whiskey out the bottle, not thinking 'bout tomorrow
Singing Sweet home Alabama all summer long
Singing Sweet home Alabama all summer long

I got my first real six-string, bought it at the 5 and dime,
played it till my fingers bled, it was the summer of '69...

Aruba, Jamaica, ooh I wanna take ya,
Bermuda, Bahama, come on pretty mama.

It's "Kokomo" by The Beach Boys with the late Carl Wilson on lead vocals.

ETA: That's a great song but after seeing the video I should have picked another version that just gives the words or whatever. I didn't realize that one was going to show that one guy over and over.

A lot of memories with those songs above. That's before the music and Rock and Roll just died

I remember David Coverdale (White Snake) and the song that made Tawney Katain a household name.

I also remember Quiet Riot
With

And

Yeah I liked a little metal.

No wonder the youth of today is sooo messed up. Look at the soft *** $#!+ they're listening to.
