Conference P5 Rankings

Can we all be objective for a minute? So the ACC crapped the bed and left the discussion last week. So with 4 conferences with 3 teams each in Sweet16 it is obvious this year no conference much better, if at all, than any of the other conferences. So the Big12 beat up the ACC but didn't fare well against Big Ten and kinda laid an egg against SEC. The Big Ten owned the Big12 but struggled against the ACC. SEC held their own against the PAC showed up with a solid NCAA.

I mean what objective view could separate any of the five conferences this year. Last year was an easy call for the ACC. This you can throw all of the P5s in a bucket and match ups would determine who wins. Parity is obvious this year.

So try to be objective, not ACC insecure, and tell me how you could put the Big12 as the best hoop conference in front of the pack. I don't see it so prove it to me?

I don't think it is actually possible to take everything that happens in games--talent, luck, officiating--and accurately decide that one conference is better than another when all are on similar planes when it comes to money.

So no homer opinion on how great the Big12 is? Nothing? Only 3 Sweet16 teams and only Kansas moving on again finally shut you and the other homers up? Nothing? Just focused on getting owned by me? Remember when the big east was the greatest conference ever? But when they got kicked out of the tourney the excuse was that they beat themselves up during the regular season. I haven't heard anyone saying that about the ACC, but the conference is very reminiscent of the BE with so many teams.

Good point but honestly the showing this year by the ACC was ridiculously poor. ACC teams were getting hammered. Also there was a glaring weakness with guard match ups in the tourney.

I never said the Big 12 was the best, you attempted to put those words in my mouth. I did, however, question your math skills. You must hate baseball, with all of those percentages they use. Using your logic, a guy who has 100 hits in 500 at bats is a better hitter than a guy who has 90 hits in 300 at bats because he has the most. The most is not always the best.

Using your logic, a guy who has 100 hits in 500 at bats is a better hitter than a guy who has 90 hits in 300 at bats because he has the most. The most is not always the best.

If a player has 48 HRs in 475 at bats and another player has 49 homers in 548 at bats who is the home run champ? % goes to first player. Trophy and HR title goes to second player. Gonzaga beat Northwestern by 6 and WVU by 3 with the help of an egotistical ref's 3 timeouts rest period.
I mean, if Rhode Island can stay with Oregon, parity is here.

If they replayed March Madness, I seriously doubt that the same teams would be in the Final Four.
