I was told after the Texas game that everything is fine. Any concerns about the TTU and UT games were unfounded and nothing to be worried about.
Am I the only person not shocked by this? This is WVU we are talking about. No school (if there are, they are very few) is more tortured than WVU sports excluding rifle of course.
Being a WVU fan (excluding rifle of course) is perpetual torture. I only laugh anymore, it's better than dwelling on it. WVU sports is like the movie Groundhog Day without the comical Bill Murray, beautiful Andie MacDowell and the cute (but mean as Hell) fuzzy little rodent.

beer is right on the money. i know we have respectful programs, but as a WVU fan it seems like the old saying "laugh now but we'll all be crying before the night is over". i just want 1 national title in football or basketball before i die, and im all but certain it will never happen. im sure we will come close again, maybe, but i doubt we ever win it all, regardless, im a fan all the way to the grave.
Every school that has been to a national title game in both football and basketball has won the national championship in at least one of those two sports...every school but one, that is.
Jordan Woodard is an absolute beast. They didn't have him earlier in the season. OU is a different team with him. That kid just was unstoppable at the end. Still, didn't understand why we didn't adjust on D. The switch off with Adrian covering him wasn't working and we still did it. Also, you knew he was going to be the guy to take the last shots- wish we doubled him. Notice that down the final stretch, OU knew it was going to be Jevon Carter for us and they would come double him at the end.
Nevertheless, I agree-- OU owns us in this league. 'Cept for Baseball this year.
