Any chance you might defer to the unstated old OTB "rule" for no political posts on a major Holiday ??

Sure didn't happen on Thanskgiving, so no reason to believe it'll happen on Christmas.......and I realize PATX just won't be able to wait to trot his latest Right-wing dreck (or 30) from the subscription website his psychiatrist gifted him for all the business he's generated for his practice the past year.

But reasonable people can hope, can't they ??

I never knew such a rule existed. If it was "unstated," how does anyone know that this rule exists? Typical logic of a lib. Unstated buy everyone knows about it, lol. And you think I need psychiatric help, lol.

And if you think you are a "reasonable" person, that's all the evidence anyone needs to stop taking your posts seriously.

That dude is a certifiable nutjob who lives to hate liberals, democrats, minorities, muslims...I don't know what he does for a living but I sure bet his boss doesn't know how much time he spends her. This eyeglass fitter feels sorry for him in some ways. He needs a life. And a woman (or man given how closeted some of these wingnuts are).

The differences between us should not spill over onto other boards such as MMB or Eats or whatever and on holidays or whenever one might be going through a tough time, lay off a little. No trolling in order to cause an argument and no need to have an ego driven post attempting to one up another member. In other words, be a gentleman for a few hours and tend to family and love ones instead of being an ahole by being mean on the interwebs. But of course, some will not understand and the best thing to do is just ignore the trolls and aholes.

I think people just stayed away from the board because they were partaking in holiday festivities. But because of the bad economy people can’t afford to travel to see family and the bad economy has put a strain and stress on families so they don’t talk to one another. So people just stay logged in here. Thanks Obama.

LOL. I am here to counter the insanity you bring to this board. As for a living, my jobs pays far more than an eyeglass fitter so I have lots and lots of free time. For you see, I am an avowed capitalist. I have no boss, btw. I love capitalism, don't you?

What I love is the hypocrisy of RPJ, Bru and the others. They post and while we often respond, we don't ridicule them for posting. We may mock them and prove them wrong, but we don't to my knowledge try and stop their posting.

This attempt seems to be one aimed at stopping some posts. If they don't like the subject matter of the day that I try and bring to the board to discuss/debate, that's fine. Although, I am not sure why they are so offended since the purpose of this board is to allow the free flow of ideas and debate. I think they don't like the fact that my posts are intended to highlight liberal insanity. I can't help it if there is so much material to work with.
