I love this. The NY Times and other liberal rags do everything possible to delegitimize Trump but cry crocodile tears when a Dem Gov. is challenged. What absolutely hypocrites.

So many conspiracies, so little time.

Not a conspiracy at all. I read the Times, it is blatant liberalism. All Trump hatred all the time. A media survey revealed that 91% of Trump stories during the general election were negative. That is a historic figure, almost unbelievable.

I think Trump recognizes that this media corruption is not going to stop. I think he pretty radically changes the relationship of his office with the media. I think he opens up briefings to many other types of media outlets (e.g. blogs). I think he does away with many old media protocols. I think he uses alternate means of getting his message out, including social media. I think you'll see Trump make many more trips to states because the local media tend to be a lot more fair.

Reagan had to go around the media because the media generally hated him too. I think Trump will do some of the same things.

So? If you say that you like to grab women by the p*ssy and the media writes numerous articles about it, they would be negative but true. That's just one example. I can't remember a presidential candidate who gave so much fodder to the press to write negative articles about (banning Muslim immigrants, sucking up to our enemy Russia, etc.).

But he also talked about jobs. About taxes. About economic plans designed to create American jobs. About economic revival plans in inner cities. About education reform, again particularly in inner cities. About foreign policy. About repatriation plans. About child care plans. About infrastructure plans. Even during the transition period as they worked to form a cabinet, the overwhelming majority of media stories were negative. They described utter chaos. They described indecision. But his pace of selections far outpaced Obama's.

Trump certainly provided fodder, but please don't try and claim an unbiased media treating him fairly. 91% is staggering.

If you say lots of negative, crazy things, they're going to get reported on.

Like I said, he also said many, many things on policy. 91% is unprecedented. I can see a 60-40 split but 91%? Corrupt media. Simply corrupt.

Liking someone is not an excuse. Hard news journalists must be professional. They get special treatment from the Constitution and must present facts, not opinion. If this media corruption continues, I am all in favor of liberalizing slander and libel laws.

The 91% figure is outrageous. We Americans deserve better. The good news is that at least some recognize the problem. The NY Times Omsbudsman has written about the biases of the NY Times and some of their writers. She got big time pushback, but that is a start.

I am hopeful that as more blogs/sites take viewers and readers away from these hard news, but liberal media outlets, the media will self correct to save their businesses.
