3,000 to 4,000 people are going to have a much better
Christmas. He knows how to leverage his position, which
in this case, is the government contracts that the parent
company depends upon. This will be just the first. Let's
get some bang for the buck with taxpayers money.

Exactly. United Technologies (parent of Carrier) saw the handwriting on the wall. They do a lot of business with our federal government.

Why wouldn't a "Liberal" want people to keep their jobs. Liberals are all for the working class. So If Trump is in fact causing working men and women to keep their jobs then that would be a very Liberal act and would be supported by Liberals 100%. Trump supports many Liberal policies. In fact his economic policies are very Liberal. The question is will be keep his word. If he does then he will have 100% support on those policies.

I don't hate it. I'm just smart enough to know it's a farce. Explain how Donnie can do all this without an agreement with the Steelworkers Union. Explain how Carrier and Donnie are going to make up $65 miillion a year that the move would have saved them. Explain from who and where that money is going to come from. I'm waiting.

This is very easy if you had any facts at your disposal and had an open mind.

1. Trump is going to lower the corporate income tax rate from 35% to 15%.
2. Trump is going to allow corporations to repatriate overseas profits with a very small tax applied. United technologies, which owns carrier, gets significant benefit.
3. United Technologies does an enormous amount of business with the federal government. I suspect Trump made it clear that their contracts would be under review. It's called leverage.
4. Lastly, Mike Pence made state concessions to carrier.

And why would the union object to saving union jobs? I must admit you confused me on that one.
