Really ..... 24 hours later and we can't muster congratulations?

Maybe a website that calls itself "WV Sports Dot Com" could find the time to at least run a small article about the team?

How about an interview with our highly successful women's coach?

Does anyone realize that the women are ranked #2 and in the Final Four?

Maybe if coverage were extended to at least the minimum there actually might be more people interested in by far what is one of the most successful athletic ventures that WVU has fielded in recent years?

West Virginia will play perennial power North Carolina in the national semifinals Friday in San Jose, Calif. at 5 p.m. Eastern.

The winner will face the winner of Georgetown and USC, Sunday, Dec. 4, for the national championship.

The matches will be televised by ESPNU.

My flight and hotel are already booked for the short jaunt up to San Jose from SoCal. Thanks to everyone who got out and supported the girls at home through the first 4 rounds of the tournament. I'll pick up the slack for you in Cali this weekend. Really looking forward to this one. Maybe the women can finally bring home that first national championship for WVU in a sport other than rifle. North Carolina is a tough draw, they are the Yankees of NCAA women's soccer.

It might not seem like a big deal, but it is. WVU rarely has a chance to win a Natty in anything other than Rifle. This would be big for our AD.

Uh, the womens soccer team is ranked #1 in the nation. They are the only #1 seed to advance. Georgetown, UNC, and USC are all #2 seeds.
