What would make this a successful season to you?

I'd go with Big XII title game appearance and Sweet 16 berth as a baseline.

WAY too early to know how the season will turn out. WVU needs better competition, which will come as the season progresses, as it always does. But the turnover ratio is exciting, albeit against inferior opponents ... so far.

Not expectations. Projections.

See, I know something you don't know................

OK, I'll play along here on a Holiday Thursday morning......how much of whatever retirement funds you've saved thus far in life would you bet on THOSE projections ??

IMO, seeding can be overrated. You can get a great seed and get a ****** matchup. I think our game last year is a great example. Our guard play was our weak link and we went against a good guard team with veteran leadership who exploited our weaknesses. Of course, the guys couldn't throw a ball into the ocean that night either.

All about matchups. You can get a lower seed yet have a far more favorable path depending on the matchups and potential matchups should you win and advance.

Not saying seeds are completely overrated but I think they can be overrated in March Madness as I think it's all about matchups.

Regular season undefeated would be great, though unlikely. Non conference undefeated would be reasonable, means a win over UVA.

Splits with KU, KSU and one other probable, maybe OSU or ISU?

27-4 or 25-6 would be awesome!
