Honestly, I'm not enthused by the playoff because there's no qualifier for it. You have to "look" your way into it, so bias has obviously come into play. If it's not even large enough to be inclusive to all P5 champions, then it might as well go back to top 2 only. Make it top 6 or 8 and cut this nonsense about leaving out of one P5 champion each year.
