This should be a very competitive game. I have no clue as to which team might have some obvious advantages. I suspect WVU has the better defense and OU has the better offense. I expect an outcome with the winner having a single digit advantage in the score. I don't expect another shootout. I also don't expect a tight real low scoring defensive battle.

I will be really happy with an OU 31 - WVU 28 score. Or, even an OU 28 - WVU 27 score.

I like having the Mountaineers in the conference. Wish you had a couple of teams closer to you in the conference. I like Dana as a coach and think he has a chance to make WVU a consistent winner in the conference.

I'd be happy with any win. This game is huge to WVU in so many different ways. We need to get the OU monkey off our back, and if we get to 9-1 there is a great chance we win the league.

This is the biggest game in Morgantown in 10 seasons. I actually like our chances.

Who knows? As one famed broadcaster said, "That is why they play the games."

The Oklahoma boys will bring their Sooner Schooner. They will ride it back to Norman missing a tar or two and the top will be ripped quite a bit................making a convertible outta their war wagon.

This is by far our best chance to beat OU since joining the conference. Our best team we've had in the Big XII by a mile, vs a mediocre OU team by their standards, in Morgantown at night. If we can't win this one we might never beat them.

I don't consider OK to be mediocre by any stretch. While I think WVU has the ability to beat them, I also realize that OK also has the ability to force things into a snowball of bad events for WVU and win by a couple of touchdowns.

That being said, its been too long since the surprise Fiesta Bowl beat down of 48-28. WVU is due to finally crack that OK egg..........

If we turn it over, OU names the score. If we play smart, maybe we have some kind of chance. We got the KSU monkey off our backs as well as a long-awaited win over TCU (2013 we were both bad so that win wasn't as meaningful). I'd like us to finally break the streak on OU, but history shows we have a lot going against us. We cover the pass well, they crush us with Mixon and Perine. We box up the run and Mayfield and Westbrook rip us apart. We will need our best game of the year and OU's worst. We shall see...

To me, this game comes down to if Skylar can take care of the football & how well we can contain Mayfield/Westbrook defensively.

I would love to see a heavy dose of McKoy/Crawford/Shell if all are healthy.

Sky Balls .... or the lack of them ... will determine the game.

If Skylar doesn't make bad passes and doesn't try to force the ball at other times we win.

If Skylar makes some really off target passes and tries to force the ball at other times we lose.

Hate to say it .... but that is the way I see it.

The game is on his shoulders. The problem with that is that it may put too much pressure on him.

Sky has gotten away with a lot this year ... his luck has really only run out against OK St. What are the odds that he continues to escape serious consequences against OU?

Yet ... I wasn't so sure that we would beat UT and we did beat them, even with way too many Sky Balls.

I like our chances. Let's look at some intangibles. It's a home game at night. This team feeds off the crowd more-so then other teams. Our defense is capable and will be jacked and ready for this game. I trust our DC Gibby, the defensive players trust The Gibby.

If Sky maintains a steady head (don't force throws) take what OU D gives and protects the ball. The run game must establish itself early and often. Have no dropped easy catches by our WRs. The Mountaineers will be victorious.

I believe the team will not be taking this game lightly. OU will be a tough test, the toughest yet IMO. OU has some play-makers and is coached extremely well.

It will be a close game decided by 6 or fewer point spread.

What's up roygbell it's been a while man. As for this game, it scares me lol. Saturday night in morgantown vs a solid wvu team? I just don't trust our coaching staff to guarantee any kind of win. I think this comes down to turnovers. If Ou and company can take care of the ball I like our chances. If ysll get the momentum it could get ugly for OU. Good luck guys and I hope both teams come out injury free

I have no idea what to expect from this one. Not expecting a win, although it wouldn't surprise me either. I think our O will need to be on its game to win this one, as our D will most likely give up a bunch of points to OU.

I'm hoping we get a start like the TCU game. In these home night games the key is momentum. We jump up early I like our chances. Vice versa I'll start to get concerned.

Last time we met in Morgantown, we get a big score and OU responded, much like LSU in 2011, with a KO return for a TD. If we get momentum, we have to prevent the back-breaking play. After both of those instances, we never were a threat again. Can't let that happen again or OU gets its fifth straight.

I don't see us holding their offense to under 28, or 35 points and that's if our defense has a good game. Just don't see our offense keeping up.

The O holds the keys today. I strongly believe our D will give OU trouble, its not going to be enough to stone them and win the game single handedly but enough that OU won't be able to do what they're used to doing. It will be on the offense to score 35+ in a matchup they should have the advantage in.
