When we've been told on here that those who oppose Obama are racists, misogynist,ignorant or sexist, it's hard not to gloat.
Want the most sure-fire way to identify a racist?
Locate the people making claims of racism. That's still the most reliable way.
CNN, NYT, etc. helped solidify the Trump base by repeating the "ignorant white voter" mantra.
It doesn't mean it's not the truth Airport, it just means they won. I'm wondering if the Trump supporters are getting their sheets fitted for the inaugural ball and cross burning?
I was watching Van Jones and he made it out like racism won Trump the presidency. He should have paid more careful attention to the other Clinton--"It's the economy, stupid." Anyone in national sales, and I meet with a group of national director-types every week, knows the economy is not good. Everyone is doing more for less because the sales just aren't there.

Sorry...... I thought you meant the state when said you were not returning in a different thread. I see you meant the Repub Party. Most of my family in Morgantown were Democrats. I became a Republican as soon as I could vote because I saw at very early age what the Dems had done to WV.
I was a delegate to the 1980 Republican State convention and was raring to go. When I got there and saw all the religious fundamentalists and social conservatives running the show I decided the Republican Party was no longer the party for me.
I think the straw that broke the camels back was having a couple of guys try to convince me that what we needed to do was send all gay men to prison, a theme that was running both nationally and on the state level that year. I remember thinking, "A man who likes to have sex with men and you want to send him to prison with a bunch of horny young guys? That will work."
