I'm not saying Wellman should get 30 carries. Just saying he can be effective near the goal line due to his size and strength. Re-read the OP.

As much as I was rooting for Wellman to get more carries, I do understand that Wellman's blocking abilities are far more important than his running abilities to the team (especially near the goal line).

Would still like to see him get more than he did at the end of the game yesterday, especially with as banged up as the rest of the RBs are at this time.
