I'm sure we would have been 7-0 going into this weekend if we were in that conference with the depth we have now

The SOS of those schools puts things in perspective better.

Louisville 7-1 (52)
VPI 6-2 (40)
WVU 6-1 (31)
Miami 4-4 (32)
North Korea 5-3 (35)
USF 7-2 (72)
Cuse (4-4) 39
BC 4-4 (69)
Cincinnati 4-4 (81)
UConn 3-6 (60)
Rutgers 2-6 (12)
Temple 6-3 (76)

I will just say I'm glad WVU is in the Big XII

I would love to see the payouts each team is receiving from their conferences.
Funny how Rutgers is getting paid probably the most out of those teams but getting blown out each week...

Well WVU didn't play Okie St as tough as some other teams that Okie St played. 6-1 is better than most preseason expectations.

WVU would be 7-0 against that bunch of stiffs with the depth they had then, jpoppa. I'm sure the BE/AAC is glad the ACC shoveled out the crap and WVU went to a real football conference and quit punishing them.

Trying to say that Wvu would be 7-0 in the old big east is a mere attempt by the pro Dana crowd to explain the underachievement wvu has experienced while being members of the Big 12. The fact is the Big 12 is the new Big east. Anyone who thinks that Dana can match wits with Bobby Petrino knows nothing about football. If Tony Gibson were head coach it would be a different story.

WVU gave that game away.

Really? Watched the entire game. Your perspective is a bit off. I mean WVU had some opportunities, as the case with most losing teams in most games they lose, but Okie St was indeed the best team that day. I'm sure you understand WVU is a solid, not great, team that has had a super season YTD b

I see two different Big Easts here (old and new) so I'm a little confused as to why you'd lump them all together.

Three turnovers leading to 17 points, yes we helped them out.

OSU may have still been the better team that day, but take away our turnovers, OSU wins by one possession at best, not 17.
