Well, after all the smack talking you did this summer about how Marshall was the best football team in the state, you were probably too embarrassed. You should have struck up a conversation, he was probably a pretty good guy since he's a WVU fan.
Five Guys has the best burgers IMHO, they do every one your way. Their burgers taste like the ones my grandma made with meat my uncle ground up at his butcher shop.
You probably don't see many people wearing Herd gear up your way............that's a long way from Cabell County.
Had one the other day and I agree....but they're not everywhere like the Big Three!
Ha Ha........hopefully I'm a couple or three decades away from needing a walker. You should have done the gentlemanly thing to do and bought the old guy his lunch. He probably wouldn't have smack talked you if you did.
In that case you should have just given him the "We Are Marshall" chant. He'd have gotten a kick out of that, especially if he's been following college football this year....but then again he may have just laughed and said 0-12.
Or, more than likely, it was a homeless guy who happened to receive the infamous 'spot the ball' T-Shirt from his local Salvation Army. I think it was the 'Great Rifle' who used to have quite the collection of homeless people in Ear Gear.
We actually agree on something. Add a "small" order of cajun fries, and you have a great meal.
You really don't want to go there. The homeless in Huntington are given Marshall stuff by the City Mission and the Salvation Army. I see it all over town every single day.
I can't blame the people donating, I would want to get rid of that crap too.
As you might have figured we don't totally agree.......when I'm at Five Guys I will take regular fries, salt them liberally, sprinkle them with malt vinegar and dip them in ketchup. And yes a "small" order of fries is more than enough for one person.
If you said you were a Marshall fan he'd probably put some spare change in your cup. Good thing you kept quiet.
He probably told the manager "That fat bald guy cleaning the bathroom flipped me off after I told him I wasn't interested in guys. He was going on about free understall action for all WVU fans and real Marines."
