He has had time. Typically he pulls down and runs. He has also had a back down n the flat but dont give him a look.

So, on 3rd down we throw to a WR who has ONE catch all year, and then get mad because he didn't run the right route? Ummm.....

Well, he threw to a wide open receiver and was BEHIND him.....but White should have caught it.

And if you want to use this logic, that TD pass to Gibson wasn't because of Howard it was Gibson for a great catch.....

White didn't do him any favors there, but Howard still threw it behind him. Ignored Gibson wide open down the right sideline. Again

Wow...do you still have eligibility? Maybe you should be our QB?

Entire team is playing bad...not just one guy! If we can score a td here, errr still have a chance...not a good chance, but a chance.

Warez here. I still have two years of college eligibility. I have played pro ball................that is true. But, I will use my last two years of college eligibility with the Mountaineers. See you next year...............even if I have to walk on!

Funny how this thread doesn't show up the first 6 games then all of a sudden...

Lots of armchair QBs around here. I always get a kick out of people who have never played QB at any level and critiquing the QB play from the TV angle.

It would be hilarious to see some of you try and throw a regular pass to your kid in the backyard.

When the QB is the #1 reason a team loses, then threads like this show up. Just like "Howard for Prez" threads show up if he carries us to victory. He wilted under pressure, didnt go through his progressions and pretended the left side of the field didn't exist.

Liking these type of posts. Arguing against someone without making any actual points or arguments. Works for politicians on the masses, but I didn't read any reasoning as to how criticisms against Howard are invalid. Did Howard have a good game? Were the fumble or 2nd INT reasonable mistakes? Was Howard justified in taking the sacks he did? Did Howard correctly move through his progressions and make the best decision? Just pretty much stating "your opinion is invalid because you are not and have never been a QB at a high level" doesn't invalidate what the other person said be it right or wrong.

It's still true that Sky has thrown a lot of crappy passes this year and until this game was lucky.

She'll getting hurt and dropped passes hurt. He didn't have a great game, but I've seem a lot worse. This is not a playoff team. It was fun to dream, but we can still win the conference which would be amazing.

Howard should not be blamed for the loss. He did not play well and has made poor decisions at times throughout his career but look at who he is receiving tutelage from. If Tony Gibson was HC he would not make those mistakes but Gibson would probably have a QB of the quality of Lamar Jackson.
