This weeks games are not as good as last weeks from a name perspective or the weeks earlier IMO. It's harder to find 15 good power five games--barring crazy upsets..

At The beginning of the season you would've thought Michigan at Michigan State would be a no brainer guaranteed. Michigan is seven & "O" & Michigan State is two and five-no longer Pick'em worthy cause Sparty ain't no Gladiator. Sad to say.

Tie breaker for the week is # of points scored in WVU @ OK State

VPI @ North Korea ( ie that school that plays @ Heinz Field in front of 35k ....... empty yellow seats )

Btw I wasn't putting Stanford @ Zona on the slate. The Trees are looking like the old Oaks that Harvey Updyke fertilized with Spike 80DF and I don't want the Dick in Zona to get a win on Pick'em after a BYE week. I almost left North Korea off cause the Chokies are not playing at Lane.

I think a VT/Pitt game ought to be stricken from the list just on general principle. Haven't our fans suffered enough?

Look at the week 9 slate and tell me another good game to put in its place that is competitive. I try to put 15 a week. This week the options were limited.

Just having fun at the expense of our two old rivals, but now that you mention it what's wrong with Auburn/Ole Miss or Arizona St/Oregon? Boise St/Wyoming and Navy/USF might both be solid games from the G5 ranks, too.

Oh man....Turkeys or sPitt...:weary:....this should be a pretty good football game however...too bad it's not possible for a 0-0 tie...thinking on this one....

No games involving Ole Miss. Too much pain there. See 3 weeks I've pjcked them ONLY to lose.. They're like LSU with Les Myles-guaranteeI to ruin your pick.

Can't do Oregon either. They're gonna lose and its to an AHole that use to coach N Korea. Only time he appears is when he plays that Dick in Zona or is on there to lose. I have unresolved anger and this is therapy (ha ha).

Boise St./Wyoming isn't P5. I like to stay out of the G5 unless it's BYU, and that's cause WVU played them. I just like the P5. Same with Navy..

I know I'm reaching with just P5 but it's the method to the madness.

Yep, I like the picks and BYU is off this week but they've got Cincy next week. We should put them back on. So here's my picks this week:

VT-urkeys (can't believe I'm picking this)
USC
Duke - GT is fading fast
Mizzou - had hope for Stoops this year, but I think he is done at year's end
WVU/52
NC St. - does BC still play sports?
FL - another loss for UGA, Kirby looking lost too
Miami - Catholics vs. Convicts returns? Not under Richt, maybe that's the prob

TCU - Kingsbury may have this year's toughest job in B12 next to Strong

Given the way you picked with pictures, I'm glad I left the Stanford @ Zona & Zona State @ Oregon games off the slate given also how I referenced the Head coaches in the state of Zona.

During Rivalry week, there will be no mention of the battle of Zona, or I will not use any nicknames for the coaches.

An awful lot of yellow in the stands yet again! Pretty pathetic when the Panthers are doing 'reasonably ' well...but then we all knew this long ago...

sPitt stacking the box and awful lot, trusting those CB''s on an island...Sky and our receivers would ***** slap them....it wouldn't last long...

Lmao (whether it involves my asshat pick or not), sPitt is really melting down offensively early...

I have always waivered between who I hate more...I think it's likely the cHokies truthfully. They are at least moderately relevant, and play to more than 20-30 thou in Blacksburg . ...plus their fans are largely Asshats. Yeah...F the Turkeys!!!.....especially tonight...

I watched that game and felt dirty. I kid you not. I felt filthy.

My only dawg in it was Pick'em. I couldn't pick one school and only put them on the slate cause I got to Pick'em to lose. The boys from Blacksburg aren't much better and they bout lived up to their namesake "Chokies". I still hate VPI.

To Torontoeers, I won't say anything. You know your mistake and you've admitted it.

I think today was "upset" Saturday.

I know I'm upset, and I think everyone but Vegas will be too.

3X, you and torontoeers both went 8-7 for the weekend. Tie-breaker point to make was 57 from the WVU game; 3X-56 and t-eers-58. So I guess the closest without going over is 3X. I was 5-10, tying my worst picking weekend so far. Bunch of teams got upset this weekend, right before the first CFP Poll comes out on Tuesday.
