With all the variations of college uniforms today, how about honoring Don Nehlen with the style used during the undefeated 1988 and 1993 regular seasons? This was a classic look IMO.

With all the variations of college uniforms today, how about honoring Don Nehlen with the style used during the undefeated 1988 and 1993 regular seasons? This was a classic look IMO.
Man, I'm real conflicted about this? I love the idea, but don't want to risk jinxing us. Maybe if we win out by the time we play Baylor? I just don't know; will it bring luck or jinx us? At least at home we have time to change that unlucky shirt; lock the wife and kids in another room; step outside for a play or two; or even call/no call a family member to start some good luck or end some bad luck. If these unis brings us the bad luck, could we change them at half time?
We brought out the throwback helmets against Texas in 2013. Ended up losing that game in OT and then lost out to finish 4-8. Not saying there's a causation, but we also were terrible that year.
I'd rather our team blaze its own path and focus on TCU - you know, the bastards we are 1-3 against in conference so far. We can go out in frilly skirts and coonskin caps at this point. I just want to see us keep winning.

I believe skill & being prepared...I believe Dana has the men prepared ....we will win by 2 touchdowns even if we are in little pink sun dresses...but I love the idea of the throw back uni.....love it
If we were able to pay tribute to the two undefeated, regular season teams, it would be nice to do it while Nehlen is still with us and well enough to enjoy it.
Long before WVU was in the Big 12, and I was a kid in Iowa, I remember stopping on WVU games on TV because I loved those uniforms. Had no particular interest in the Mountaineers, but just would tune in for a bit just to see the uniforms.
I would love to see the two stripes on the gold pants again. And the three stripes looked nice the white pants.
