It's the Benghazi backstory that the CIA has gone to great lengths to keep in the background - covert transfers of weapons to Libyan rebels that in turn were almost surely being passed to al Qaeda and other terror groups. The two former SEALS who were killed in the mortar attack had been working with the CIA to find out exactly where some of those weapons had ended up, and they were especially concerned about a quantity of shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles.

It cracks me up how little people realize the under the table arms trafficking we as a country participate in.
