Juwon Young is now running with the Herd. Started the last 6 games for the U last year. Finished spring as their starting Will backer

Was suspended Indefinitely for lying about receiving a Bentley to rent for free. Would still be at Miami if he didn't lie.

Man the talent Doc is bring to Marshall is amazing

Committed NCAA violation and lies about it to the compliance dept. Sounds like a perfect fit for Marshall

Too bad it wasnt an NCAA violation but an internal Univ. of Miami violation. And he lied to Coach Richt and didnt tell the truth like the other 3 players.

That's exactly what he's saying. They have no standards whatsoever and will take anyone who they think can help them. They just make it worse when they brag about picking them up.

"Looks like Doc picked up another prized recruit that wasn't eligible to play anywhere else/got kicked out of their current school/couldn't qualify to play for the school they wanted to."

Maybe you should research more. Miami is investigating possible NCAA violations since the player was using a luxury car from a dealer. When questioned by Miami compliance, he lied to them so they kicked him off the team.

Impermissible benefits? NCAA violation.

Oh wait, do you think he lied saying he was getting it for free but then the university found out he was actually paying for the luxury car. Lol

You can't even put 2 and 2 together to arrive at 4.

One things for sure, he won't be driving a Bentley in Huntington

What? Less than 24 hours ago Miami announced that Stacy Coly a WR for Miami is also being investigated into possible NCAA violations with an exotic car dealer. This is the same investigation that involves marshall's new LB'er.

Poor Herd Fever. Such a dumb mf'er.

Took a kid who was arrested for domestic violence?!? Shocker. Kid is on probation still. Will his ankle bracelet impede his play?

If his hand is sore from smacking his family all day, he might have trouble holding on to the ball.

Depends. If he's a running back or WR it may lead to some ankle tackles.

Didn't Eric Dickerson show up at SMU driving the loaded Jeep A&M gave him? College football never changes.

Juwon Young is no Dickerson. But Miami still hasn't learned. They continue their ways but Richt will clean it up IMO. And to think, another player in this mess was announced yesterday. But according to Fever, there's nothing to see here but a little internal lie.

Says the team currently on probation that just came off probation.
Well considering another LB'er you brought in was kicked out of ASU for domestic assault, this kid is looking like an angel. I always love herd fans saying Doc is tough on kids who break the rules. The lesson here is, just break them somewhere else and then you can come to Marshall.

BUT, SMU paid a pretty hefty price for their indiscretions.

Second hand and in some cases third hand players (as was the case with Randy Moss) are the bread and butter for Marshall.

Bragging about a coach who picks up players who were kicked out of other schools and had to lower themselves to play in an irrelevant FCS conference pretending to be an FBS conference (CUS1AA)...

The fact that you had to come here and tell everyone, should tell you how irrelevant Marshall and its conference is.

Maybe he went to the Miami board and bragged how they stole one of their starters. Maybe they can also get the WR that was named this weekend as being involved. This could be a recruiting goldmine for Doc.

Before you guys start casting stones, try to remember how and why Jake Kelchner ended up coming here?

Most fans didn't have a problem when Don and Holliday were bringing questionable kids in at WVU. You can crack on Holliday all you want, but remember where he learned to recruit.

You check their background out with the HS coaches that know them, if the kid checks out, and you think he's worth the risk, you bring them in and hope for the best ala' Kelchner. Nothing wrong with it where it's allowed. You can always boot them if they act up.

The P-5 leagues can no longer take partials or NQ's, If the kids wants to sit a year to play, they either drop to FCS or what used to be called D-I AA. Otherwise, the P-5's stash theirs away in prep schools or JC's to take later.

Most of the Big-12 lives on JC's as does much of the SEC and PAC-12. Same ol' ****, just a better shovel.
