I'm in the 40's....athletic and energetic. Not overweight (5'9" 170 lbs). I golf a lot. This past Spring I was swinging and my shoulder hurt, at first I shrugged it off and finished out the round. But I noticed that every time I would raise my arm, the shoulder blade hurt. And it even hurt to the touch. Then I started getting temporary numbness down my left arm in to my hand. It only affects that arm. Well it got to the point where my shoulder was getting better, no numbness (except while sleeping/laying on it). Today, my hand is numb. Shoulder pain isn't bad, it's actually feeling pretty good.
Now, I've done the normal self-diagnosis and feel that I tore my labrum. But others say "pinch nerve". I went to a chiropractor and he said no pinched nerve, at least he didn't think so.
Anyone else gone through this before? I don't like numbness.....scares crap out of me to be honest.
Thanks.
