Or you can tell that to Latin American countries like Honduras where the gun ownership is 6.2 (low) but a gun homicide rate of 68.43 (high) or Colombia where the gun ownership rate is 5.9 while it's gun homicide rate is 27.09. I'm sure they would love to be enlightened to the fact that there should be less gun homicides in there country - maybe they didn't get the memo.Tell that to Australia which has seen an enormous reduction in violent crime and murder since they basically abolished guns.
There is nothing in the video to support the OP's subject line. There are many factors to consider when trying to infer causality regarding gun ownership as it relates to gun crime and a blanket statement is unsupported.Or you can tell that to Latin American countries like Honduras where the gun ownership is 6.2 (low) but a gun homicide rate of 68.43 (high) or Colombia where the gun ownership rate is 5.9 while it's gun homicide rate is 27.09. And your point was that Australia has less violent crimes/murder as a result of less guns...and that less guns would equal less crime/murder...well that's not always true...ask the Hondurans or the Colombians.Thank you for proving my point. Claiming that "statistics prove more guns, less gun crime" is only valid when you hand pick certain evidence to support your claim, while discarding the mountain of evidence which refutes your claim.

I try to never say never. England has roughly 900 years' head start on us as a nation, so maybe in another couple of centuries our descendants will see the light.Sadly, Pop, we are at the point where we cannot turn back. We have guns, we will always have guns, and we will continue to allow MORE guns. If someone would try to do something about guns, I'm afraid we would be on the verge of a takeover by militias from all 50 states. People see what they want, and believe what they have always believed. They will never look at the other side. Reduction in fatalities and crime can happen WITHOUT guns, but not here, not ever.
