Anyone else watch the first episode? Looks like it might be a winner. Good replacement for True Detective (second season anyhow). I don't think the kid did it, but who else could it be?

TD season two was a complete bust but I watched the whole damn thing hoping it would turn around. I think they're doing another TD.

OK, that makes sense, maybe that's what I heard an then just asssumed they wouldn't bring it back at all.

I assume I should be able to access the first episode of Night Of via HBOGo, or it will be replayed again sometime this week and I can just DVR it.

Yes watched Night Of via on-demand last night - should be good to go on HBOGo.

TD is likely done. BTW, I think Season 2 is underrated. Go back and watch it again.

When you watch something on HBONow the little commercial at the beginning lists TD as "The Complete Series", like Deadwood, Six Feet Under, Sopranos etc.

I agree. TD season 2 got better as it went on. First few episodes were a struggle, but by the end I found it pretty compelling. Especially the final episode.
