In the wake of the Orlanda killings the President gives a speech focusing on Trump. Win Trump.

Trump responds: the President " is angrier at me than the killer." Win Trump.

If Trump becomes President (smh) democrats will have no one to blame but themselves.

So in your mind, in the aftermath of Orlando and when Trump calls (again) for banning Muslims from entering the U.S. it's a "win Trump"? smh Okey dokey and thanks for the political analysis.

Obama needed to address this. Trump is the GOP's nominee. His views on policy are being broadcast across the world. Our President has a duty to rebut the idiotic statements Trump made. Plus, this "islamic radical" label issue has needed addressed for a long time. As does the insane idea that our President is somehow sympathetic to ISIL. Most people realize what an idiot Trump is. But many still need reminded. Kudos to our President for taking this issue head on.

I'm not sure that's true. And when people see what happened in Orlando and hear the President talk gun control that loses a lot of Democrats. If Trump is successful at painting the President and Clinton as more worried about a political agenda than safety Trump has a real shot.

I'm glad you don't make your living as a political pundit. You'd starve.

The prez seems to always get around to talking about gun control after every mass shooting so this is nothing new and I don't really see how it would cause Dem voters to vote Republican unless there are a few hardcore NRA/Dem voters but anyone who follows these things realizes that no gun control measures ever come of it. Also, how is the prez's gun control rhetoric not associated with his desire to make this country a safer place? whether it is reality based or not?

He mentions terrorism but focuses on detaching the acts from Islam, lectures on how to treat Muslims, and blames guns. He's waging an effective war against ISIS but that's getting lost.
