Glad Sirius has suspended him. These right wingnuts keep calling for someone to use their second amendment rights in order to get their way with political leaders in this country has to end. It is against federal law to threaten a president to kill him. I don't know for certain about presidential candidates. But these irresponsible fools that are so loose with their comments is very dangerous and is why a Planned Parenthood in Colorado was shoot up. Start prosecuting these people and if able, write additional laws to clarify the current laws if need be.

I'm sure you could provide some context and amplifying information, however based on your limited write up, I'm inclined to agree.

Some dude said a "patriot" was gonna have to shoot President Trump, because Congress is spineless, on Beck's show.

SiriusXM is suspending Glenn Beck’s show for the coming week on its Patriot Channel after he seemed to agree with a guest who suggested illegal means to remove Donald Trump from office if he is elected president.

The interview last week was with author Brad Thor, who told Beck, “If Congress won’t remove him from office, what patriot will step up and do that if he oversteps his mandate as president, his constitutional granted authority as president.” Thor called Trump a “danger to America” and said that he was suggesting “something very bad.”

In a statement, SiriusXM said that the comments “may be reasonably construed by some to have been advocating harm against an individual currently running for office, which we cannot and will not condone.”

In addition to the suspension of Beck’s show, SiriusXM said that they were “evaluating its place in our lineup going forward.”

“SiriusXM is committed to a spirited, robust, yet responsible political conversation and believes this action reflects those values,” the company said.

Beck has not yet issued any statement in response.

On Twitter, Thor wrote that Beck is on his regularly scheduled vacation. “He wasn’t suspended,” he wrote.

what did Beck do or say garnering a possible arrest? According to CNN, Beck is a huge critic of Trump and associates the comments with a caller and not him.

Personally, I loathe Beck because most everything he discusses is apocalyptic while masqueraded as enlightened philosophy.

Only Beck didn't say anything. It appears as if you've just told another lie

Thanks Coop. I really like Thor's books. He is a poor man's version of Vince Flynn (RIP).

He agreed with the dude.
The article used the phrased "seemed to agree" and that's not the same as "agreed with". Plus Beck didn't make that statement as Bru intimates, but, simply didn't admonish or distance himself from those comments fast enough.

Bru - you are a liar...deal with it

THOR: He is a danger to America and I got to ask you a question and this is serious and this could ring down incredible heat on me because I’m about to suggest something very bad. It is a hypothetical I am going to ask as a thriller writer.

With the feckless, spineless Congress we have, who will stand in the way of Donald Trump overstepping his constitutional authority as President? If Congress won’t remove him from office, what patriot will step up and do that if, if, he oversteps his mandate as president, his constitutional-granted authority, I should say, as president.

If he oversteps that, how do we get him out of office? And I don’t think there is a legal means available. I think it will be a terrible, terrible position the American people will be in to get Trump out of office because you won’t be able to do it through Congress.

BECK: I would agree with you on that and I don’t think you actually have the voices we’ve been talking about and we’ve been talking about this off-air for a while. I think the voices like ours go away.

Dealing with dumbasses like dave and eers is pointless. Hilarious to watch them spin a position they think is relevant but let the children throw their temper tantrums and call me a liar when the evidence to the contrary is visible to all that have a clue.

Damn you're dumb. You can't even follow along in a simple thread. Coop clearly demonstrated what an idiot Eers 3:16 is when he provided proof that Beck agreed with the guest. He wasn't even addressing what he thought should happen to Beck and then you come along and say "you can't follow the title of the thread, jibber jabber drool on your shirt ********..."

Did I miss the violence part of it? I'm sure it may have been implied, but I didn't see where he said anything about actual violence. Realistically, he could have been talking about anything, specifically, whistle blowing for 1 of the million things most administrations could be impeached for if the right information were to be leaked. Could be massive protests, could be work stoppages across the board, could be any number of things. I don't really believe that's what he was implying, but it certainly could have been, I think he was implying exactly what Bru called out, but neither actually said it.

I agree and my point where those two nimrods don't understand is by giving access to threaten in this manner should be an accessory to a crime and is what Beck has done.

What's thin? Eers said the first article I posted said Beck only seemed to agree with the writer, so I followed up an actual quote from Beck that reads, "I would agree with you on that".

What's "thin" is this supposed suggestion of violence by Hemsworth.... Thor... whoever he is.

So he should be arrested as an accessory to a crime that has not been committed? Be careful pointing fingers because there are 3 huge sausages point back at you.

This is Beck's second crazed statement about Trump in just over a week. He made an offhand statement to his producer over the air that he would stab Trump if he got close enough to do it. I was listening to his show at the time and was floored.

Doesn't the producer of Beck's shows have the brains to run a long delay on the nimrod and keep a finger on the cough button in case he floats one by?

A stabbing threat, even in jest, towards a Presidential candidate, is going to get you a visit from the Secret Service. The Sirius thing is icing on the cake.

Dangerous statement and I can understand the thought that there was implied threat...but I think you'll agree that rhetoric on both sides has been divisive over the past many years and I fear if we can't get someone in leadership that can unite this country then we're going to see some violence.

Allowing a nut to broadcast the idea to take out a political leader is a little bit more than divisive rhetoric.

Not sure I can go down that road with you. Despite the statement being borderline or hell, beyond the line, it's still a wide *** gorge to someone actually committing the crime. Rhetoric is rhetoric, no more and no less. Certainly not unique to party either.
