Mazey is one of Oliver Luck's great coaching changes when he came to WVU. Hopefully, the NCAA will let the Mountaineers get a spot in the tournament since they are one of the hottest teams in college baseball at the moment. And barely lost to TCU in a heart-breaker.

Just saw we didn't make it in this year. It's only a matter of time though with Coach Mazey! Still bummed for our guys though. CWS is exciting to watch and I hope our fans have that joy late into the summer in future years to come

Make that FOUR teams with losing conference records in ACC play who got at-large bids--Wake, GT, Duke, and BC. Duke (33-22) and BC (31-20) even went one-and-done at the ACC tournament.

The baseball committee gets on its knees for the ACC the same way the media does for the SEC in football.

It's still a great day for Mountaineer baseball that they were named on the selection show by the committee chairman as one of the "First 3 Out" for an at-large spot. Could you ever have conceived we would've come that far in baseball upon joining the Big 12?
