And that alone should be a good reason to vote for someone else. If he can't get anyone in Congress to support him during his run for president, how likely is it that he'll be able to work with anyone in Congress as president?
He doesn't have dirt on anyone but rather regardless if one agrees with political perspectives of someone, most elected officials can see Cruz is a danger for many different reasons.
One reason was he was hell bent on having the government shutdown in 2013 and many Republican Senators tried to talk him out of it. They knew it would end up giving them a black eye but he wouldn't listen and kept pressing. He has just went too far radical right, farther than a lot of Republican members of Congress want to go.
There's a slice of the far right that I really think wants our economy to crash hard tomorrow so they can then say 'I told you so'.
He's one of them.
Don't be fooled. The ENTIRE GOP has been rooting against America and anything good since Obama's inaugaration. They have made that clear from day 1.
