Sleepwalking. It's so bad I have turned the channel. Can't stand watching them just go through the motions out there and not play hard.
When the press doesn't work we struggle. When the other team plays good half court defense, we struggle. Both are happening today so far. We have more turnovers than KS, and again aren't converting offensive rebounds.
Drawing fouls isn't doing us much good when we are shooting less than 40% from the free throw line. Tighten up that half-court D and find a way to score from mid-range. Seems like in the half-court O its either drive or get an offensive board or shoot the three. Even when open from 15 feet, a lot of our guys are not confident enough to take the shot.
I'm not sure why you think Ksu is not a good team. They're 10-2. Their only two loss were to teams ranked in the the top 20.
I'll take it, but I think WVU benefited from the refs swallowing their whistles a few times during that 12-1 run.
Did Williams not score a single point in the 1st half? That's ridiculous. Cannot happen. He's better than this.
barely behind after playing pretty poorly for most of the 1st half. we cut out the turnovers, hit the foul shots and convert the close in stuff we may win this. we are dead from 3 point range though. very winnable game still.
There is one guy on the floor for WVU that 1,000 other high school 1 star recruits could do. You know who I'm talking about. He is good for one thing....fouling.
Is Williams still on the team? It appears that he is not on Huggins radar for play today. Win or lose..............they do it without him?
Heck, we got almost every call in first half. Officials even charged K-State w/ aTO they didn't call. We can't claim home-court whistles.
Was in response to the KSU freshman getting a 3 ball that was clearly on the line, then a late foul on Holton following a jump shot miss that resulted in free throws. Overall officiating hasn't been terrible outside of a few head scratchers.
Miles wins award for Dumbest Player Ever. That was stupid to the millionth degree. Brain-dead move.
Can you believe that? Unreal. Should have won, now gotta play OT with foul trouble. And their guy steps up and knocks down two FT's to tie and was shooting under 40% for the year. We have miss after miss from the line from guys 65% and above
The worst part of this game is K-State stinks. Will finish sub-.500 in league. If we lose, then come tourney time it will count as a bad loss.
Unreal part 2. Dribble for 29 seconds and throw it out of bounds. Giving KState one shot to win. With a timeout in your pocket, that was our best offensive effort?
Get ready for a bail out whistle coming up. I can see them driving the distance and forcing contact and getting the call.
