Story in Richmond Times-Dispatcht

“I’ve got a long, enduring relationship with the Mountaineer fans,” said Williams, who also didn’t show up for his postgame radio appearance. “In a demented way, maybe some of them wanted to come say hello to me.”

But most of the Mountaineer fans just wanted to come and rub Buzz's nose in his own excrement.

See, that is what a real rivalry is all about.

I like Williams. Playing him reminds me somehow of the old days versus Jon Chaney. Hope we see them on the schedule in the future.

I am not sure, but I thought I heard the announcers say a couple of times during the game that WVU had a 10 game series scheduled with VT.

They said it like...10 times.

I disagree any comparison between Williams and Chaney.

Chaney getting tossed out of the Colisem >>>>> than anything related to Buzz Williams.

Those games vs Temple were the only time Temple registered a reaction from WVU and our fans. It was really all Chaney. I remember him going off on John Caliperi while Cal was at UMass. Cheney was a live wire.
