and others claim that PP is selling body parts as if they've kidnapped someone, put them in a hotel room and sliced a kidney out of them, this is what you get. The kooks among us, (and they are becoming more and more common with the dumbing down of America by the anti-science GOP and their mouthpieces, Fox News and Rusty Limbaugh as well as evangelical, radical Christian sects) will be motivated to use their 2nd Amendment Rights and protect what they view as someone being murdered. So, ye reap what ye sow wingnuts. The thing is, where is the outrage from the GOP? Crickets.

An evangelical was killed protecting a place he probably despises. You need to change your rhetoric.

Nice spin. The kook, who was undoubtedly motivated by rhetoric from other kooks, killed innocents to further his whacko political cause. Sorta like ISIS. he killed a fellow Christian. Just like ISIS doesn't hesitate killing fellow muslims. They view it as the cost of doing business.

Exactly. And that is why the right-wingers have so much blood on their hands with home-grown terror.

Remember soon after Obama was elected in 2008 and there was a Homeland Security release that predicted a rise in home-grown terror from right wing members and groups due to rhetoric? Doc - you even was the first to post it on this board and all the usual suspects did their typical spin, deny, and excuse making while slamming you and me and certain others. Hell, the country was warned to calm it down but all they did was ratchet it up even more over the past 7 years. Sickening.

Your 8:04 AM post was better. It pretty much sums up the relevance of most of your comments.

Nice spin.

The spin is all your's. Words mean things. He was a loner, not known to hang out with anyone. That is not an evangelical. You paint with a big broad brush. I don't claim him as a Christian I would relate to. I denounce his actions as not Christian, and not helpful to the Christian agenda.

He might be a right wing extremist, probably is. But evangelical? Nope.

And then we have a jackass in this thread actually saying "words matter". Unreal the hypocrisy. Btw, i played Atlanta Athletic Club highlands yesterday. Great course and a wonderful facility. Their overseeded Rye fairways were a pleasant surprise. Not too many green fairways in the south this time of year. I hit it pretty well but shot 82. 4-5 strokes given up because of the lack of course knowledge. Layed up in the drink on 18 and made double. Hit it exactly how I wanted. Missed several short putts too. Quite a set of par 3s on that course.

So applying this flawed logic. How many police have been assassinated following the #blacklivesmatter #effthepolice and #handsupdontshoot and all the people who have been pushing those causes, including our own president and his justice department? How much blood do they have on their hands? One shooter at PP vs what, 50 or so cops? Definitely a lot of blood on -doc's hands considering his stance on it all.

Please give it up....BTW.... my granddaughter had 4 aces a while back on one hell of a tough putt-putt. She was upset that there were so many wrinkles in the astro-turf, but she was able to overcome that problem.

Nice try. The reason that there is the need for the black lives matter movement is the actual murder of blacks by some cops-cops whose job it is to protect us-not gun down or strangle unarmed citizen who are jaywalking or selling illegal cigarettes. Those are actual episodes of murder. And the president and justice dept should be calling these criminals out. And sending them to jail. There is too much protection by police and local govt of bad cops. We just saw that in chicago where the video of the cop killing the unarmed jaywalker was surpressed for a year. Cops need to do a better job of policing themselves. That does not excuse those who target cops for revenge. They should go to jail. But you certainly don't see any reasonable person condoning their actions like we see from the whackos when it comes to abortion-which is not murder and is legal in every state in the US. You whackos zealots continue to throw gas on that fire and actually act surprised when opne of your fellow whackos takes your rhetoric literally and goes out and kills a doctor or PP employee to save a "baby" from "murder".

I realize that it is difficult to have your own crazy logic applied to your own actions, but there is no difference between the arguments. No conservative or christian group is calling for people to kill anyone, and nobody is excusing people who do. Your logic is flawed.

Your whacko pols continue to call abortion "murder". It calls to arms those who take their comments literally. After all, a "murderer" should be stopped with any means necessary. People like Huckabee and Rubio have blood on their hands.

People like you are the ones who have blood on their hands by continually lying about cases like Trayvon Martin and the thug in Ferguson. Last time I checked no one was found guilty of murder or any crime.

Shouldn't be very hard for you to figure out since you portray yourself as an expert on the sport of golf.
The guy write for Golf Digest on the side. I have no problem with you taking issue with his opinions on some issues - that's any individual's right. On the other hand, facts are facts. Attacking the legitimate credentials of someone to try to lessen the impact of their opinions usually backfires on the attacker - unless you're Donald Trump.

Even the highlighted part of your pathetic argument is false. No politician or religion in America is calling for murderers to be stopped with any means necessary. Everyone is told that people are innocent until proven guilty.

What is really sad here is that people, and you in particular are so driven by partisan politics that you want to take a situation like Colorado and use it to deride political oppenents Its just pathetic. It says a lot about you.

Really? So if I see a person pull out a guy and start shooting innocent people, that person shouldn't be stopped with any means necessary-including killing him? See, that is what your side has done-painted people who work at PP as murderers. And murderers, by any reasonable viewpoint, should be stopped. So every time one of you whackos calls abortion murder, you incite those with similar beliefs to act to prevent a murder. It ain't hard.

There are a lot more cases than those. I've said it many times - I don't believe Zimmerman's full account. I do believe that he acted out of fear for his own safety at the end of that fight, but how that fight started matters. Regardless, the case the state put forward was not strong enough to convict him of a crime, and it couldn't have been without another witness to refute his story. The cop in the Ferguson matter was vindicated, at least in my opinion.

Here's the problem - I think it was 4 cops on the scene in Chicago, answering a call about a guy with a knife. All of the cops are in relatively close proximity to each other. Only one of the officers decides he needs to fire on the guy. While he's popping off 16 rounds, not even that action causes any of the other policemen on the scene to fire their weapons. The Chicago PD suppressed the video, and the FOP rep on the scene gave a false account of the situation. That's good cops protecting a bad decision, and that's what has people up in arms.

Doc is an expert on the game of golf. His opinion on who are the greatest players in the game are opinion laced but the man knows the game and contributes to a leading magazine on his expertise of course architecture and playability. Need to put this argument away with a tail between your legs.

Actually, I'm not a writer. I'm a course ranking panelist. There are an average of about 20 of us in each state. To become one, you need to have played many of the top course in the world, have competitive golf experience, and possess a handicap of no more than 5. And having played golf on scholarship at WVU, earning All Atlantic 10 conference honors, having won many amateur tournaments, having won 5 club championships, and having been president of my club, I think it's safe to say that I qualify as an expert in the sport of golf. ;)

I really doesn't matter what you felt about Zimmerman. A jury found him not guilty, end of story. The person who you constantly blindly defend based on your politics continues to fan the flames of hatred.

I wasn't there, so I don't know what really happened and neither do you. There is a difference between being innocent and being found not guilty.

I was found not guilty of going 100+ in a 55 on my crotch rocket in my younger years because the cop that stopped me didn't show up. I was hardly innocent.

I defended Doc once. If that's "constantly", someone taught me the wrong definition of that word.

Like I said, based on the evidence, Zimmerman should have been found not guilty. It's up to the state to prove his guilt, and there was no way they could do that in his case. The rest of the info on that case is my personal opinion. OJ was found not guilty, but my personal opinion was that he did it.

I see you dodged the point I made about why people are riled up. As long as good cops keep covering up bad decisions on the part of their fellow officers, people are going to question the official story on these cases. I'm not saying that cops always cover these things up. I've given props to police chiefs and prosecutors who have done the right thing, even if it wasn't popular with the FOP or some policemen.
