I've never been a huge fan. But she had a command of the stage last night that nobody else had. She knows the issues. She possesses an air of competence. She's smart. She has the machine behind her. Nobody on that stage last night is a threat and certainly none of the kooks on the other side can beat her. She's been hammered on Benghazi and the emails for a long time and it really hasn't hurt her among those who matter (anyone other than the Fox News watcher). With a few more primary debate performances like last night's, she will solidify her hold on the front-runner position and blow the rest of the Dems away in the primaries. And she'll destroy whoever the Repubs end up with.

So, you wingnuts will have 8 more years to tell us all how the country is going to hell in a handbasket. The GOP is in shambles. They have both Houses of Congress but can't get anything done. Hell, they can't even agree on a Speaker. I look for at least one of the Houses to flip too in 2016. There will be a huge turnout and it is always bad for Republicans when people show up and vote. You read it here first.:cool2:

You don't have to be partisan to see reality. Who in your estimation can beat her?

If she wins and governs like her husband then it won't be as bad...but if she tries to go it alone ala Obama then it'll continue the divide in this country. My thought is that she has to project herself to the left in order to solidify the base. I didn't watch but maybe the last 20-30 minutes but only her and Sanders should have been on the stage - the other three were coat racks.

No doubt she will be the Democrat nominee. Let me refresh your memory. I have said from day one IF Trump is the Repub nominee, HE WILL DESTROY HER. If he does not get the nomination SHE WILL BE THE NEXT PRESIDENT. And maybe you should be more honest, you are indeed a fan of hers.

I'd love to make a wager with you if the two win the nominations. Trump has no chance of beating Hillary. Only in the Fox News world of blinders does he.....:flush:

HE WILL DESTROY HER
lol if he's popular enough to DESTROY HER how could he not get the Republican nomination? I think there are many people from both parties that are amused by Trump but when it comes down to putting him in the White House, many will have a hard time pulling that trigger. I believe that voters from both parties will be disappointed at the party nominees and will be holding their noses in the ballot box but that's often the case.

Her personality will cost her the election.

She just happened to be on the stage with of no-names and a wimp (Sanders), easy win for her.

Her personality is the very reason I don't support her. But her experience and stance on major issues wins this for her.

I will be voting for a 3rd party again if that's the case. Extending the streak to about 20 years

How could he NOT get the nomination? ...... He can be very unpredictable. And who know what skeletons he may have in his closet. Hell, he may just throw his hands up in the air and say "I've had enough of this, I'm out. If he stays in and gets it, Hillary won't know what hit her.

Two reasons she'll win:

1. Perception of competency and intelligence

2. She's female.

Good reasoning of why she MAY win. But remember she had those same things going for her in 08 and a relative political unknown destroyed her because of her arrogance and smugness.

But personality is what wins. It's what won it for Clinton, GW, Obama... It's what will determine this election. Fortunately for Hillary, the GOP is lacking in that area right now.

Personality wins it? You vote for the Democrats if you think Government helps, you vote Republican if you think Government gets in the way. I knew I'd rather hang out with W than Kerry but that didn't mean I was gonna vote for W. I mean really, you gonna ditch your ideals and just go with a personality?

You mean her stance on the Russian reset?
Or her stance on invading Libya?
Or her stance on providing more security in Benghazi?
Or her stance(s) on Keystone?
Or her stance(s) on the Pacific Trade Agreement?
Or her stance(s) on gay marriage?
Or her stance(s) on the Iraq war?

I could go on and on, lol.

I don't think that's necessarily the case. It is the Republicans that want to drug test welfare recipients ... that's more government, not less. The Republicans are big on military which provides hundreds of thousands of middle class jobs, but that's more government, not less.

Essentially they have their different topics in which they want more or less government involvement.

Absolutely personality wins. Look back to every Presidential election since they started televising the process. Every single winner was the more personable of the choices. You and I... we are not the voting masses. The voting masses.... vote on who they feel comfortable with. Period.

Right. You really think he's going to attract anything but the kook fringe, lowest common denominator GOP voters? In other words, independent voters who will swing the election? Get real. Even Republicans with functioning brain cells are terrified that he'll somehow be their nominee -- it would be Reagan vs. Mondale in reverse.

In that case, she'll break that streak then. I think she's a raging *****. And I also think she wins handily, especially if Trump is on the ticket.

If enough people feels she's really competent, that explains why people would vote a second time for Obama and again for Hilary. They are both socialist who pick the winners, govt and friends of govt, and the rest of the country becomes losers. You're right about a female, sexist but right. Did you ever read her paper from wellsly? She said that Alinsky, sp?, didn't go far enough.

If Trump's on the ticket... her personality (Bitchy as it may be) will trump (no pun intended) Trump's insane approach.

This is different from the GOP in what way exactly? It isn't. The entire system has become corrupt and it isn't isolated to one side or the other. As soon as everybody wakes up and realizes that "their" party is every bit as bad as the "other" party, the better off we will be.

There is a difference in philosophy. Repubs think you are better off if govt stays out and dems feels you are better off if they take your money and give it to who they think deserves it. There's just not enough money for this and govt should only be responsible for our safety.

If the GOP could stick to that message they'd get votes from people that are currently repulsed by the social conservative wing of the party. If the GOP ever starts pushing for fiscal conservatism and saying that people know how to run their lives better than the gov't and stopping there then they'll do better.

Except how does that jibe with their stance on issues like abortion? After all, if "people know how to run their lives better than the gov't", women should be free to get an abortion without going through government hoops.

Exactly. The kooks have ruined the GOP with their religious zealotry which they want to force down everyone's throats. But, this is what happens when you sell your soul to the devil. It was a conscious decision made to win elections. Meanwhile, the kooks are now holding the GOP hostage. Reap what ye sow.

Exactly ... "We, the GOP, feel that government should stay out of your lives .... except with this issue, and with this issue, and with this other one over here, and that one over there"

What's being described is more along the lines of the current Libertarian party than the GOP. They can say it and preach it all they want but their actions contradict that.

People who oppose abortion are not doing it to complicate the life of the mother but instead to defend a life afforded zero choice.

Kinda like the conscious decision the dnc has made to look the other way in regards to inner city crime because black votes help win elections.

That's quite a stretch. The DNC letting Blacks commit crimes so they'll vote Democrat? That's a new one. [pfftt]
