I have had it!

WVU was a preseason top 10 team that every media outlet in the country thought would win its 3rd straight Big12 championship and make its second consecutive playoff run.

Loosing to two top 20 teams that WVU has always been better than is unacceptable. Dana got out coached by two bums Bob Stoops ( what has he ever won) and Mike Gundy ( same ) and the games were not even close.

WVU has been the premier football program in the Big12 since it has been a member and Dana has wrecked it.

We went from winning National Championships to this?

My god, how can any of you take this serious?? He's obviously just being funny!! I'm amazed that even one person took him serious, but multiple people did!!

WVU has nowhere to go but up, or play Kansas for last place.

The Mountaineers easily could be winless in October for its 4 Big 12 games. Then it gets easier, obviously, after playing 4 unbeaten, top 25 teams in a row.

If only the WVU offense could be anywhere near as good as the WVU defense (thank you, Tony Gibson).


Turnovers, overthrown passes, slow starts. It's killing WVU, one game at a time.


I know it's not the Big East any more, but it will still be the Big 12 next year and for years to come so WVU needs to find a way to at least finish in the upper half. That's a pretty low bar, isn't it?

Hard to distinguish when some are being outlandishly humorous or just being outlandish. After reading the garbage that several post on a regular basis this one was not really an obvious outlier.

Are you telling me that you read the second sentence that he wrote, I'll quote it below, and you could not discern that he was being sarcastic?

But if you tell us this wasn't an obvious "outlier" I guess we'll believe you.

I agree, but ain't gonna happen. Cost too much money - 8.75 million bucks....we're stuck for now.

Clearly WVU wasn't expected to be world beaters this year by the media or the "experts"......wonder why that is? Is it that we not have the talent to win in this league or is it that our team is not coached well enough to win. I didn't see Oklahoma out talent us....we just made tons of mistakes and they executed better.....same thing against OSU. I'd go as far as to say we were the superior team on the field against OSU and at minimum equal to OU. Dana is in year 5 and it's been a whole lot of the same since he's been here....are we to believe he is suddenly going to turn it around?

Yes Okie has more talent than us. So does Baylor and so does TCU. Also, so does Texas (a lot more). But, we have recruited well recently (not great) and we need the recruiting to get better. Part of executing is talent. Funny, I remember a few years ago some guy named Gibson was a "coffee-carrying bum". Now that he finally has some talent to work with, looks like he might actually know how to coach D. Dana can coach offense. He needs better QB play and a better O-line, both of which he and his staff need to recruit and soon. I think the line has played better this year than the last 2 but Striker (of Okie) is a Sunday level D end we couldn't block. We need a Sunday level lineman or 2. Everyone, including our own fans, seems to think we have no chance against Baylor. I think we have as good a chance to beat them as we did last year.
