Really torn about the Syrian refugee crisis

I have many Syrian friends and they are terrific people. The disaster that is Syria has got to tug at everyone's heart strings. 5 million homeless people is horrific. I want to help but I have zero confidence that we can adequately screen every migrant and it is well documented that ISIS has infiltrated the migrant population.

This is just another insidious side of terrorism. Complete lack of trust hurts those most in need in times like this.

It isn't lack of trust, it is a lack of empathy from people who see a terrorist in every Muslim or Refugee.

That's BS. ISIS has infiltrated the migrant population. That is a fact. Every country should be justifiably concerned that terrorists are being admitted to their countries. To ignore that fact is political malpractice.
