I've been through mediation several times with a few companies in which I am part owner. I was very disappointed with the process. The mediator studied each side's position but spent most of their time simply trying to get both sides to compromise and "split the difference." They are supposed to look at the facts, assess each side's position and work to try and resolve the differences based on each sides relative strength. At least that is what they are supposed to do. That is not what happened during my experiences. The good thing is that it was non binding.

Twice a day.
Twice a day.

So tell us about it? How long each day, how long over time (months, years), what kind, what effect has it had, yadda, yadda. I get people mixed up on here sometimes but I think you're one of the over the top political folks and if so I'm surprised a meditator would also be a political screecher.

I think you're getting him confused with somebody else. He's not shy about letting his opinion be known, but he isn't one of the screechers. If he ever seems irrational with the way he delivers his message, the underlying thought is usually quite rational. If you feel that way, you're probably mistaking brashness for irrationality.
