CFB hires are now all about NIL. If a program with significantly more NIL funds comes for your coach, he is leaving. There is no maybe, it’s a less stressful job now, it’s not just about contract money. There is nothing more stressful than managing turnover, and guess what, the schools with the most money don’t have to do it. You find a way to pay your best players enough to keep them, or they leave and you portal shop for undervalued guys. That depends on what you call a lot of money. In comparison to other SEC schools they don't. They also don't have a lot of NIL money either. It's miniscule in comparison to Auburn.
