I am creaming myself. This whole rah rah recruit ******** reminds me of smiling Mike. That turned out well. Win some freaking games, Matt. Improve upon your . 500 college coaching record. and overall .400 record. The only thing you have proved is that you are an average to below average coach. Prove you can win some games or shut the F up. Including the media and the homers.
Good call, what is Rhule thinking here, bringing in top talent throughout the nation, wowing prospective players and having other universities reaching out to see if they can duplicate the events…

Yes I have been drinking. I love the big recruiting weekend. It's cool that Matt has brought some serious talent to the camp. However, don't you think it is time that Matt proved what a great coach he is and quits being a used car salesman like he has been throughout his average career? I want Matt Kenneth Rhule to succeed, but I think he is somewhat of a ****** coach.
With the schedule being what it is ( easy as hell ), Matt should go 10-3 with a bowl. Will he? No freaking way. I do not need to be sober to realize that a .500 coach will always be just that. Hope MKR proves me wrong. Will he? I doubt it. The husker hype is screwing with peoples minds. That's cool, though. I am drunk and the world is good, with or without Matt Kenneth Rhule.
Of course he needs to win. No one is saying anything different. But one of the ways you win is presenting your program as a viable place to play for top players, and that’s what Rhule did, by all accounts, with this event.
He may fail, but it won’t be for lack of effort. If he gets the top talent to start coming to Nebraska, all of a sudden he’s gonna be a great coach. Just watch.
I just learned that Rhule's middle name is Kenneth. Seems kinda weird, I never knew T.O's middle name (or any other DONU coaches) and I never really cared.
I am not saying he isn't trying. He looks like he cares and is a hard worker, as he should be while making over 9 mil a year. But after 12 years of coaching at an overall .400 clip, I am not hopeful in year 13 and beyond that he can suddenly become a great coach. Having a camp with some excellent talent and actually landing some of them can go a long way, but until I see some wins with great in-game coaching ( and with the exception of a game or two last year, I haven't yet ) . I think he will be just another Billy C or smiling Mike. And in my opinion, he already was when they hired him.
But who knows? Maybe it will finally click for him. However this isn't Temple and he better get the **** figured out quick, or we all know how this will play out in a couple years. Cool recruiting camps or not. It is hard to get optimistic when we ended the season last year by winning 2 of the last 7 games. Most fans seem to forget how we regressed in the 2nd half of the year. I did not.
For someone that is so in tune with the numbers involved (12 years, 2 of 7, .400, $9 million, etc.). You have an astounding ability to be completely inept at
1. Seeing patterns - Rhule’s incremental improvement at every stop every single season
2. Understanding what solid programs are built on (recruiting wins, NIL spends, number of four star recruits landed, etc.)
I'm loving all the praise this weekend is getting. Rhule and company seemed to have knocked it out of the park with this event.

Rhule has been a program builder that hasn’t stayed long enough at anyone place to this point might explain his .400 winning percentage.
Might want to spend some time researching what the new football facility has to offer.

Well, he’s not a Husker fan to begin with. He’s an iowa reprobate, pretending to be Husker fan who desperately wants Rhule to fail. His opinion(s) are more worthless than doge coin on a busted hard drive.
This time of year is especially hard for iowa fan. Having to read about all the highly rated recruits that won’t even return a phone call from Kirk, and are simultaneously interested in Nebraska makes his blood boil.
Wtf are you talking about? People have barely posted in this thread and most of the tweets posted here are from reporters or the players themselves. You expect zero discussion or acknowledgement of a bunch of very highly rated players on campus? The media should be silent about these players on campus?
