I do wish the outside either had a larger line or was filled in white just for WR's running routes.

Many are not liking the red borders in the N zone. Need a better contrast for all those toe tapping TD's for Nebraska WR's.
Yep . They need turf that they can roll up and put back: the old turf wasn’t that kind . After the season the will roll this turf up to bring the equipment in the stadium to start some stadium work.
You do realize because of the construction on the North end Zone that putting in new grass already isn’t is just Kong pissing about something doesn’t apply to his post vote.

Possibly before Astro turf, (1970) would have to do my research but just came off the golf course..
I guess that 6 inch white line is enough of a contrast. I wonder how everyone wasn't confused when it is green end zone/6 inch white line/ green apron on grass fields.
We don’t get a neutral option. Don’t love them. Definitely don’t hate them.
As long as we get in them Many Many times, I don’t really care what color they are.

Kong, Before the Astro turf in 1970 Nebraska had grass end zones were painted white with red painted Huskers and Nebraska.
I’ll m not sure why anybody is worried about the boundaries in the endzone when all of our TDs are going to be fullback dive plays.

Although we haven't had much experience with it lately, its pretty typical for an endzone to be blocked out in red with white lettering (for Nebraska) for basically all conference championship games and bowl games. And for that, I love it, and hopefully is a sign of things to come! The only thing new is the red boundary. There is high contrast between the white lines and the red outer boundary, so that shouldn't be an issue for receivers.
I think the issue at Purdue is that they outlined the out of bounds boundary black with yet another white line, which could easily be mistaken for the out of bounds white line.

I didn't hear his podcast, but I found this kind of odd:
I hesitate to post this to be honest, but who posts a happy anniversary to their wife, and in that post includes a picture of your wife with another man. I just find this very weird.
He grew up in Iowa and spent one year of his life on the west coast.
Like him as an athletic director, or not... criticizing the pics he posts on X seems a little overboard. (in my opinion)
