How Many Yards Will DR Throw For?

here is some much needed context for this thread:

only 30 QBs threw for more than 3,000 yards last season (4 B1G QBs, all played at least 13 games)
only 19 QBs threw for more than 3,200 yards last season (3 B1G QBs, all played at least 14 games)

only 25 QBs threw for more than 25 TDs last season (3 B1G QBs, all played at least 14 games)
only 9 QBs threw for more than 30 TDs last season (2 B1G QBs - Dillon Gabriel & Will Howard)

and here were DR's Vegas passing over/unders last season:

Passing Yards - 2669.5
Passing TDs - 20.5

Given this, I think:

2,800 yards
22 TDs

Would represent a pretty good year statistically

Real question is how much positive regression can we expect as far as explosive plays are concerned?

Our offense accounted for just one single 50+ yard TD last year. DR and the offense as a whole had to work really hard for every yard gained/point scored.

Would be nice to get that number up to 6-7, and for half of those to be from handoffs (not sure EJ has that kind of breakaway speed, unfortunately, but hopefully the new faces on the outside will be as advertised).

I think he goes over on both too. Going to look at our schedules pass defense stats to be sure, cause its the off season and we're dorks.. but it looks on paper like we aren't exactly playin the 85 Bears...there's a lot of putrid in that schedule

Given our weak schedule, you should also plan for DR not to have to play the entire 60 mins each weekend

And when he is playing, hopefully he’s handing it off

Also later in the year the wind picks up and temps drop. Our new WRs have never played in cold weather.
