Tony and Luigi’s is the most recent exceptional restaurant in Lincoln. The lack of good food in the city is a joke.

A little OT but in Omaha the old school Italian restaurants were the equal of The Hill district in St. Louis. Cascio's has gone down hill a little IMO. Angie's on 10th St. near the main Post Office was very good but Piccolo Pete's was the best, even better than Mr. C's. which was very good. Many of the old Italian restaurants in Omaha had owners who were from Sicily. If you want to sleep with the fishes, tell a Sicilian that they're the same as boot Italians.

We ventured up to Sioux Falls for a concert a few months ago. Ate at Morrie’s and I had a TREMENDOUS NY strip there. Maybe one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. It’s one of John Thune’s favorite places to eat.
That place is kind of amazing. The location is horrible, the inside has never been updated but it just works. It is just one of those places that just flat out works.
I don't think so...they had one in South Dakota at one point but it failed.
The one in Omaha is packed all day long.
I stayed up there once. At the Hilton down town. They had a restaurant there that was amazing. Crave? Fantastic food and a unique city.
I remember my dad taking us to Brother Sebastian's at a different location when I was young. I think that location burned down?

Best filet I ever experienced - Archies' Steakhouse, LeMars, Ia. At one time, Rachel Ray's organization rated it #2 in the nation. Decor was definitely outdated, but once you cut into that steak, you didn't care. To top it off, we would go to Wells Blue Bunny and have a turtle sundae for dessert. Oink, oink!
The one that burned down is in the same location. They rebuilt it the exact same as the original.
You lost me with “free range ranches”. What color is the fat on your steaks? Oh and I don’t know a single feeder that feeds soybean meal to their cattle. Did you know that the corn plant is a grass? Corn is nothing more than the seed head of a grass plant. Cattle on range also eat the seed heads of grasses some of which can contain ergot. Google ergot poisoning for fun.
I went there for my 20th anniversary and I'll never go back. Most of their negative reviews are about the slow service. It's supposed to be more about the experience of socializing and hanging out with the rich. We were there 2 hours btw. The table behind us was full of a bunch of loud people. Come to find out that it was the owners. The portions are stupid small. The perfect description of me getting my plate would be the equivalent of the dog video getting one piece of dog food and it goes into attack mode.
A steak at the Highway Diner would probably be just as good. The fried Brussel Sprouts sounded good when ordering. All 3 of them actually were. In total between 5 of us, not even getting the most expensive options, not having any alcoholic beverages, and even getting free desert for our anniversary, it was something $660 after tax and tip. Hopefully some of that went to their NIL contributions, and I almost felt bad flushing the most expensive
