In Omaha tonight.

Cool.

Side note: I used to watch wrestling years ago. Who in the hell is that fat guy? Could it be that fat wrestlers are making a comeback? I don't like watching the choreographed gymnastics put on by all of those 5' 9" guys that weigh a buck eighty.

No clue. I haven't watched in 20 years. After the attitude era it became too tame. Best time in WWE was when you still had stars like The Rock, Stone Cold, DX, HBK, The Game, etc. Monday night wars WCW vs WWE. I couldn't name who is even a star nowadays?

Those were indeed the glory days....Sting v NWO and DX vs Stone Cold Steve Austin made for some great Monday nights....some of the stars now are still pretty good: The American Nightmare: Cody Rhodes, The Tribal Chief: Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Seth Freaking Rollins...they're all entertaining in their own regard but there's just something special about the wrestlers you knew growing up...you don't ever really replicate that feeling with the new gen

Sure miss seeing George “The Animal” Steele feasting on a turnbuckle. The Honkeytonk man clobbering someone with his guitar was always nice. Loved seeing Hillbilly Jim in tag team action.

I think it is safe to say that WWF 1985-1995 was probably THE era for wrestling.

My grandpa loved All Star Wrestling and took me to Pershing in the 60's once for a match. My grandpa didn't understand why more high school athletes didn't "get into a good sport, like wrasslin', instead of Nebraska Football." ❤️

Vim, vigor and vitality. That S.O.B. is just as annoying now as he was 60 years ago.

For those of you geeking out on the good ole days of wrestling, check out "Mr. McMahon" on Netflix if you haven't already. Worth a watch.

Translated....You just told me you think my mother was a ***** and you want to fight.
What non fans don't understand. It's a male soap opera. It's entertainment. But the "it's fake" crowd don't realize that guys and gals get injured in the ring like any other sport. Wrestlers destroy their bodies. Guys have been paralyzed. Guys have died. Wrestlers die young. It may be scripted but the injuries are real. Football players who tried wrestling said it's the toughest thing they've ever done.

And performing year round. I’ve never been a wrestling fan except when I was a kid. But the training and performing never stop

I was a huge fan in grade school, some of middle school (7th & 8th grade then)...but as soon as girls boobs started sprouting I was out and never looked back.

When you are young and watching it you don't really know it is "fake", you get a little older and you don't really care that it is fake, then you get a little older and you either just watch it for fun or you just sort of stop watching.

I mean, I knew that the show Dallas was fake, I knew that Hunter was fake, I knew that ER was fake, I knew that Seinfeld was fake and that Friends was fake, I knew 90210 was fake and that Arrested Development was fake...But I still watched.

I never understood how people could watch that fake ****.

I just assumed the audience was mostly retarded kids.
No different than the hundreds of reality tv shows on. I mean, who watches "Mama June"? How about Jersey Shore" or "Beverly Hills Housewives?" or "90 Day Lockup?" Apparently a shitload of people watch it and have for years. Seems there is nothing off limits when it comes to "entertaining" the public.

What about "American Pickers" where people go around before and pick through the crap so Mike can go in and find those nuggets of value?

I keep asking my wife, "Who watches this ****?"

Nikki, since you know wrestling is so fake, how about you get your *** in the ring and take on one of those phony wrestlers?
