Trying to go in my memory book for my favorite play last year.

Offense:
Dowdell trucking Sanders and breaking his arm.

Defense:
Hills pick 6 vs Colorado.

What say you?

Goal line power set in Whisky game where the safety who came up (#8 Lowery) got his bell rung by fullback Robinson, Ives scores.

Hutmacher tackling Rutgers RB for no gain on 2nd and goal from the 1, then Singleton tackling receiver on 3rd and goal from the one in the flat preserving the goal line stand.

Raiola getting strip sacked by Iowa late plus a 50+ yard FG in freezing temp
How can we lose that game with how the D dominated is beyond me.
A microcosim of the Husker football the last 5+ years

Really? No Iowa fan here. Tell me you don't agree, the Huskers have been inventing ways to lose especially to Iowa. Favorite play - No, but accurate - Yes

Then how could that be your favorite play? Only a Nikompoop would acknowledge that.

The thread is pretty simple - choose your favorite play of last year. Your answer was akin to me asking your favorite cereal and you respond with “tires and slinky’s”.

Post a thread about how we find magnificent ways to lose … because that subject hasn't been covered at all over the last decade.

I’ll go with Hohl knocking through a 50+ yard FG at the end of the first half against Ohio State.

It was very satisfying because the officiating crew was doggedly determined not to let NU get any points on that drive.

The kneel down on the last play of the Pinstripe Bowl against BC. Meant we had our first winning season in a long time.

Ok the topic is favorite play and you bring that up and expect people to think you are a Hawkeye lover?

I gotta go with the several times that other teams tried to go through the middle on third or fourth and short and nutmacher, Robinson and Company said not this day.

Offensive play- Ty's block on this TD. Totally devastated that kid.

Defensive play- The pass rush against Sanders. This first sack really set the tone.
I was thinking of the sacks from that day also - but that first one and the storm that came after was a thing of beauty. I don’t get to many games - but I’m so glad I made that one - it was so awesome.
