Interesting add. NU is in a pretty unique position to have the same coach being able to compare WR rooms at Kentucky and Nebraska. Obviously Shorts is higher on this Happy Gilmore than some of the WRs at NU.

After Jaylen entered the portal we had to get more talent from somewhere in the portal.

Stoops probably pissed like a MF. Come take my damn WR coach then take my best WR and my best young WR.

Pot roast and White and who they took isn't as bad I don't think lol.

Love it. WR coach obviously knows what he is getting. 6'1" 180. Sounds like kind of a project but big time potential. From Florida. Ran track. State qualifier in the 800. Just googled Pahokee. An insane amount of NFL players from that area. The 2013 Super Bowl had 4 players from Pahokee, according to what I just read. The town is 6,000 people!

Coach Rhule basically said Dowdell was being recruited for a while and he transferred to UK. I hope Stoops is pissed!

Yup but a bit bigger frame at 6'1 185ish. Apparently an early HS graduate who played thus year at 17. WR coach must be pretty high on him.

Saw that. Reclassified. So super young, and must be smart. Plus, really athletic. Our WR room is loaded with potential. Young potential.

Senior - Key

Junior - Bonner

Sophomore - Barney, Nelson, Bell, Hunter

Freshman - Clark, Smith, Mills, Mozee, Gilmore

Yup and I had forgot about Dowdell going to KY lol. Good for him. I guess Rhule said ok that's fine you can take him but we will take your best WR, best young WR and WR coach lol. Not a bad trade. I'm sure this **** gets personal with coaches sometimes.

I'm thinking this is correct. We got some dudes coming N. Portal and recruiting class. Maybe he will just stick with track and field. Hell of an athlete.

Yup I actually like Lloyd and hope he lands on his feet. Whether at Nebraska or somewhere else. Always heard he was a hard worker. Maybe just not what we are looking for under current OC/WR coach.

Talk about a makeover. This WR room will look COMPLETELY different and in a good way I believe. Even the young uns coming in gonna have to earn their way. I can't even think of all of the WRs right now lol...

I like this pickup, bigly.
A guy who has speed, is a frosh, and has a relationship with Shorts already.
And not a small 5’ 9” guy, but 6’ 1”.
So Key is the senior leader, then three guys finishing their frosh year in Barney, Gilmore, and Hunter. Throw in Bullock and the young guys Bell(hopefully heathy) and Keelan, with Doss back to WR. All playing in Holgorsens system… I like it

Bullock walked on senior day, I don’t expect him to return

Anybody know if the Jones kid out of KY will start on offense or defense and if offense where at?

Maybe this is why Lloyd left. Maybe he already knew of this...would make sense.

Holla
Certainly possible. Even without this transfer he looked like the odd man out for next year with Barney jumping him and the two big transfers. Would have liked to retain Lloyd but it's 2025.

Offense last I heard. They had said WR, but I know Mizzou was recruiting him as a TE, and I really like him there. Guys like him and Nelson could be real difference-makers at TE.
