I also think when they announce their intent to go to the portal, they have dillusions of grandeur. After a few days and a silent cell phone, they're excited to throw the bones again. Somewhat humbled because they're not as desirable as they think they are.
This is something I had not thought about but it is probably true.

It is why a lot of guys stay with some nagging *** wife. They look around, thinking they can do better and sort of realize, well, they all nag and they are all annoying but at least I KNOW what I currently have, it could be worse.

Maybe, I don't know, just spitballing.

Glad he's back. For 2025, I have him and Lenhardt as the top 2 ends with Van Poppel and Jeudy as the top 2 interior. I am not sure he'll be a "starter" but he'll get starter minutes.

I don't think the Suh comparisons really help him out. That's too much pressure, but he'll be a key player for us next season.

So if he's back that should mean he can see time on the field for the bowl game...

I'm probably bastardizing this, however, I believe Rhule made comment that "non championship" Bowl games are like an early spring game and a preview of the next year with young players and not so much your seniors... could be interesting to watch how this plays out in a few weeks

They’re gonna try like hell to win it without getting Ty, Nash and Scott injured.

While watching Everybody Loves Raymond as a teen, I thought Debra was the biggest ***** imaginable. But compared to a lot of the women I've come across since then, she would be top tier.

Can the kids enter the portal after the bowl game? Can you enter the portal multiple times? Seems like some might want the practices and the game to get better and then just re-enter later.
I could be wrong, but I don’t think it’s a screen door that you can just run in and out of… Eventually, grandma tells you either to stay in or out.

I think many of these D portal guys were waiting to see who the DC and position coach was going to be before deciding to stay N. Glad he's staying.
Don’t overthink it. This is pro football. $$$$$$$$$$$ is the simple answer.
