Ha! Met mine at a wedding…😏
Coworker hookups have been normal forever and honestly very, very few are really exploitative. I've worked at companies over the past couple decades where these things are pretty much open knowledge and nobody is a 'victim'.

Thank you!

99.9% of them are just a regular everyday "relationship", not some power dynamic. Not some struggle for control.

You are with those people 40 hours a week and maybe sometimes after work for some drinks.

Equal coworker is a little different than what Coop was doing. When you're a university employee with power over a subordinate it's pretty standard that you can't do what he did. Add to it that I suspect that it occurred on university property. The details of why somebody had to be dismissed are usually never revealed publicly. I don't think this was your standard office romance.

I mean, unless he was ******* a player and promised playing time...

This was no big deal and as usual a huge overreaction by people at work and we still have not solved the jeans issue.

I solved the jeans issue.

All of my pants are more comfortable than my jeans, so I don’t care about jeans day.

1500 students, so roughly 750 girls. So 2 out 5 girls are pregnant, including freshmen. Exaggerate much?
I don't think so man. "Everywhere you look there's a pregnant girl", is what several of my friend teachers say that work there. I've heard teachers say the Mexicans are up here, they knock up the fat chicks then go back to Mexico.

And don't pretend like being a freshman girl is young to be pregnant, cause they're are a **** load of them that are pregnant in middle school before they even get to high school.

I will try to find that statistic because I imagine it's available. My point was, I DO know its outrageously higher than it was and with abortion a part of the way a lot of people think, getting knocked up is no big deal.

My overall view was that society is way more promiscuous than it was back in the day. To deny that is being naive.

This is very wrong. Teen pregnancy rate has been going down for a long time now. The statistics show young adults are having less sex than ever.

40% of school girls pregnant. You’re off your rocker.

You might want to watch what the **** you say about someone on a publicly posted forum.
Last time I checked this was an opinion board.
You have your opinion, I have my opinion, and my attorney might have his opinion.

Kids literally walk around with shirts that say "Virginity Rocks". And these aren't even religious kids. And not only do they not get made fun of, more kids buy the damn t-shirt. Crazy.

Hold on...you actually think 40% of girls in HS are pregnant?

There are 17.3 million kids in HS, half ish would be 8.6M girls.

That'd be almost 3.5M high school girls pregnant LMAO. The normal amount of actual births in the US each year is about 3.5M lmao

For the record, the number is a lot closer to 2-3%. This is similar to the state senator that actually thought our classrooms had kitty litter in the corner for kids who identify as cats.

Then, to top it all off when you're called out for such a ridiculous take, then you threaten to get your attorney involved? For someone on a message board calling you ridiculous? Like for real??? Maybe the internet isn't right for you.

I didn't say anything about nationally. I said in the district I live in.

You're not relying on any real statistics. My original point was the promiscuity now compared to when I went to school.

He didn't say I was ridiculous, he said I was off my rocker, there's a big difference there.

Ban me, I don't give a ****. But do it permanently.

What would I ban you for? I mean I guess threats, which is against board rules...but calling a lawyer over being called "off your rocker" on a message board? That's more funny than anything...Are you really that thin skinned? Seriously, if that really is more than you can handle, maybe log off.

"Threats?" That's a ******* joke. A threat is me saying what my attorneys opinion might be? Get real.

You need to quit interjecting **** into words that aren't written.

I've been set down twice. The last time was when I said Hurrican Hilary, and the mod, who ever that was set me down because he apparently thought I was referring to HilLary Clinton during the Hawaii DEW situation.

Funny. But explains nothing. Perhaps someone else can fill in the blanks here… And no rumors. What was the exact reason given by Rhule for his firing?
He had a affair with the sports psychologist Dr Haskell . He was told to cool it . He also hit on some female student athletes.what got him fired was he screwed an intern and Dannen then stepped in and said enough. Rhule convinced Troy to let Coop resign.

Doubt it, once the complaint was filed there would be no stopping it and it would make the papers.

Two consenting adults "made love" more than likely each of them bragged (the guy) or gossiped about it (the girl) and rumors started, just like in every office.

Coach Virgin found out and probably called him in and asked and told him not to do that. The DB coach, a grown man, probably thought that was stupid but said "okay" and still went and had sex with the other consenting adult.

Coach Virgin made him resign.

The real question is, will wearing jeans ever get normalized in the work place???
You’re clueless on this subject sit it out.
