What are people supposed to do? Ignore it? **** on it? I think we can be happy about off season moves the program makes. Doesn’t mean we’re happy with “winning the offseason”. Don’t make a false equivalence when it’s not there

I don't think this is all desperation on Nebraska's part, but it always worries me we are in those change up years that previous coaches ran through.
Riley changed DC's and everything got worse and got fired.
Frost sucked anyway then added a square peg retirement OC and got fired a couple games in.
You have to find the right fit or it can go south quickly.

Riley was apparently compelled to can Banker after Banker improved NU's defensive performance. Diaco's defense was the ultimate square peg in a round hole. Holgerson is a guy who can call plays in his sleep and got more out of Rhule's (apparently obese) playbook in a few weeks than Satt could get in two seasons.

That’s not DH’s offense, show me Houston’s receivers when those two were together? But our receivers were better this year than Kentucky’s for sure.
Wouldn't mind bringing 1 or 2 guys over. I know Maclin was highly rated as a transfer last year.just going to leave this here...

But our receivers were better this year than Kentucky’s for sure.
we didn't have anyone close to 700+ yards like Key produced. his 47 receptions would've been tops on our team, too.
I posted that because they, like every cfb player, are free agents our new WR coach can bring with him
a 700+ yard upperclassman receiver in the SEC would be very welcome in our unproven room.
This hire also comes with the added benefit of sticking it to Stoops and Vince Morrow after they've poached a number of recruits and transfers over the years.

I don't really question Dana at all. I'm more talking what happens on the defensive side of the ball. That is a crucial hire imo and has to be the correct fit. White wasn't perfect, but if you had Diaco or Chins with what we had on offense before Dana, you would have seen 3-9~ records.
We also cannot stand pat on special teams as is.

True. Probably have 8 who realistically have a chance. Probably need 2-5 more as contingency and sort out after spring.
