Yep. The football team is mostly wimps and blimps. Boys playing a Man’s game. Won’t change until we find some Dudes that can Man up!
Boxes, are you the only one that was able to stay up that late? Watching the DVR right now, the announcers giving high praise to the ladies.
It wasn't that late for us folks on the west coast!
The female announcer played for UDub a few years back. I'm impressed that usually the announcers have a lot of knowledge about the game (as I don't) and it seems that at least one of the announcers the Big 10 uses is a former player.
Our team is incredible as is the coaching staff. I love how Cook is so good at using his challenges.

They have almost zero fight when it gets tough and adversity hits. Really is something to watch.
My parents gave me a permission to stay up past 9:00. I did extra chores this week.
My date slipped and fell on her steps at home. She sent me pics of her bloody knees, palms, knuckles and chin. Needless to say, we rescheduled. I was disappointed. I joked that she didn't need to throw herself down the stairs to get out of a date with me!
I drove over for the game. Lots of fun and quite a few of us Husker fans. The women dominated. I really liked watching the Huskers play in person. Got a lot better perception of the game than watching on TV. I was talking to people around me in the line to get in the arena before the game. Had to wait over 30 minutes for the doors to open. I was surprised how many Canadians were there just because they like good volleyball and Nebraska has just a good reputation for playing well. There was also a large number of parents with their kids who play volleyball. The game set a volleyball attendance record for Hec Ed with just over 9700 fans. GBR!!!
(Hec Ed doesn't have a lot of concerts, but I saw at least two that I can remember. Fleetwood Mac and the Go- Go's. That was so long ago that I had hair.)
