This team was supposed to roll over and die.

The prolific talent of Ohio State should be running roughshod over a team beat last week at Indiana by 1,000 points.

This team isn't quitting.

6 minutes left. Now down 21-17.

Come on boys, somehow bring this one home.

Agreed - was hoping the team would have a solid showing. Felt deep down we weren’t as bad as we showed last week. Glad the boys are battling with their heads up - proud either way but damn it let’s get some stops and win this one!!!!

However this turns out I am proud of our guys today. This is a very talented OSU team and in Columbus. Rhule earned his paycheck this past week getting this team over that humiliation at Indiana.

Not impressed by their fight today? I fully expected a no show from the Huskers today… they have some pride after all.

Yes, I’m proud of the team for stepping up, but another take is how we apparently have enough talent to play with the big boys…. yet our coaches haven’t been able to get the team to play to their potential.
Satt’s first half was awful today, and he continues to keep our offense handcuffed.

Just more loser talk. Ohio State hardly showed up today, we had several chances to pull out a W, but then we shat the bed again. Same old story.

After last week and the way this game started out? I'm super proud of this team and their effort!

But, close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades, and slow dancing. We still don't have a bowl invite.

Proud of the effort today but damn it when are we going to win one of these? I knew when we had the ball at the end that we would do something to muck it up and we did. Begin with a false start then another dumb as **** play call throwing it into the line followed by a pic. And we had all the momentum after the targeting call. And Raiola is good, but he once again left points on the field by overthrowing two wide open receivers for touchdowns. We should have won this game and we would have if Raiola had been more accurate.

Considering the large gap in talent and the crime ring known as Big Ten officiating, I’m impressed it was a 60-minute game. But eventually you have to beat someone.

Great effort. Hopefully they will try different wide receivers, perhaps more of the freshman. The two transfers are busts. Can’t block and can’t get open. Neyor’s pattern on that last INT was amateur hour stuff.

I can see a letdown game coming next week against UCLA. Especially since they have a bye week this week.

Nope. Fighting to win is the bare minimum I expect. I'm in show me mode now, they need to win some of these games.

I was worried about that too. But still a lot to play for - they will be ready to come back home - get that 6th win and run the schedule out.

Did Nebraska get some mojo back and can they follow through the rest of the season playing like they did today? USC is really the only team left that has more talent than Nebraska, the rest are teams that are about even but can be beaten. Problem is, will this team have any fire left to pull off wins against teams they struggle with? We shall see.

Why? We obviously have the players to compete with OSU and also get annihilated by Indiana.
