And yet, given our recent history, I would not be shocked if we were the first team in history to lose a game even though we scored the most points.
Aren’t we all just holding our breath collectively in hopes that what is put on the field today looks like winning football.
Not just the score. But the score combined with low turnovers and procedural penalties from the offense. The defense getting off the field on 3rd down and turning the other team over. Solid STs. Maybe a 25 yard punt return, 100% fgs and eps. 45 yard kick return.
Is that asking too much from today? I sure hope not.
